This is simply the best, i have being following all the videos you post and have found it simple to just let you do the explaination instead of other channels keep it up you are the best .
Dear Tutor, You need uniform class interval i.e. of equal size, you've taken the last interval as 90-100 i.e. wrong either it should be 90-99 so that class size remains same or you should make the discontinuous class intervals to continuous class intervals viz. 49.5-59.5, 59.5-69.5, 69.5-79.5, 79.5-89.5, 89.5-99.5 and after this you'll get correct values for M. It goes wrong at 2:26 Hope you'll correct it.
Considering that these are grades and some individuals are capable of achieving 100%, wouldn't it make more sense to include 100? (Not trying to crush your comment, I'm just trying to gain more insight)
I noticed this too. For the ranges I would do 51-60, 61-70, etc etc. And then for your midpoint it's not 60-51, you're supposed to find the difference between the lower class limits. So it would be 61-51= your class limit = 10, then the midpoint is divided by 2, so 5. You CAN do this kind of thing with uneven class sizes, such as 0-60, 61-70, etc, where your lower class is a whopping 60 (midpoint of 30). You just have to multiply that frequency by that specific midpoint.
You’ve helped me so much, I absolutely love your videos and teaching method! Could you also make a video about chebychev’s theorem? I would really really love a video of you explaining it....
Can you please explain why you have used /n-1 instead of /n because, to me, it appears you have used all the data points and not a subset of them (ie population subset).
Great video. How do you solve the case where the lower or upper bounds of the first or last interval, respectively, are open e.g. "90 and above" or "less than 50"?
