The dialogue is absolutely awful. From the banter to the characters acknowledgement of their environment. None of it makes sense.

Steam says this is Soulslike? Nah. Everything seems to be nowadays. Souls games have a very specific gameplay and this isn't it. This is more like Horizon to me.
Anything with a dodge nowadays is called a souls-like, that said go fight a few bosses and revisit this thought
