I've tried them in the past.. my local craft store had the Kohinoor versions (tritones). They look fun on the surface but trying to actually use them is a whole other experience. You basically can just flat color since you can't control the light/dark balance at all. You could try shading with something really neutral, like a payne's grey... or just using these for specific elements on a page, like a seashell or something.
I think you have managed to make the final result look like something. But these pencils are definately not for me. What I love about pencils is the control I achieve with them. Yes, for a Mandala page they could work. I still would prefer other mediums, I guess. Thanks for bringing out the video! Was entertaining as usual 😊
