Is Brandon Dorlus, Bralen Trice, or Ruke Orhorhoro the rookie most poised to impact right away?
Later, Will explains why center Drew Dalman, safety Richie Grant, defensive end Zach Harrison, linebacker Troy Andersen, and cornerback Clark Phillips are poised for bigger seasons in 2024. I love the information and all the deep dives in to the Atlanta Falcons but I absolutely hate your shirts, your collars give me nightmares... Keep up the good work... not the wardrobe
Good 'un, bro!
Are you gonna be my personal shopper?
Try to catch you live tomorrow, Aaron, since i have no babysitting duties! 😎
I am not sure if WE can be complacent about making the playoffs. That would be crazy!
I think all 3 Dline picks will play into the rotation early and often and that's mainly because they will have to play. The days of Jarrett and Onyemata getting the lions share of the snaps is over. Morris likes a heavy rotation and varying combinations with his DLinemen. Will Kentavius Street and Eddie Goldman even make the roster?? I think the increased number of DLinemen that are kept on the 53 will reflect the HCs desire to use a heavy rotation and varying combinations.
The guy I believe is on a path to double digit sacks in AK Ebikeite. A guy who is somewhat being overlooked is Zach Harrison. I think you'lll see Harrison stand up more this season. Trice also has a real opportunity to be the guy on the other side simply due to the lack of any real talent on the roster to stop him besides a still developing Harrison. Lorenzo Carter ain't that guy.
Both of our safeties are better suited to play zone. Bates struggles in man coverage just like Grant does. Hellams didn't do anything to hurt his chances of playing major minutes per game as well as a rookie so he's only going to get better. I would say Hellams is definitely progressing faster than Grant.
Troy Anderson is a bust waiting to happen IMO and it's not really his fault. He's simply not a 2nd Rd talent at the ILB position. I know people love him because he runs fast but he's playing a position that requires serious time on task at ILB. He didn't focus on the position in college so he's simply going to be behind other guys drafted that high. He's clearly behind Landman right now based on how Landman played last year. You don't just bench Landman and take away his progression just to hope Anderson can learn how to play the position. Anderson will need to show up big on ST in 2024.
Andersen's potential in coverage means he should see a lot more snaps than Landman. 2-down LBs like Nate just aren't solutions in today's NFL.
C'mon, guys! The topic was: "impact." Spelling Grady and David = Impact. Right?
Great point!
Hopefully they do if not can't wait to see the new head coach in GM let's be honest here if we get another fun 7 to 10 season everybody's getting fired
Arthur won't fire Raheem after 1 year
My conspiracy theory is that the falcons got Penix just to play in Primetime games (tin foil hat) but just think about how wild that would be 😂😂
Nah, what that dude is describing is just cope for a bad draft class.
Will Mc F,talking nonsense as usual.Hes such a mouthpiece for the regime.Such drivel about Grant.Closer to scrimmage?Phillips as second corner,at five foot 6.He just named players for the sake of it.Can see Aaron's not buying it.GOOD!
Will is one of the smartest people covering this team. If you're seeing any reactions from me, it has nothing to do with what Will is saying. It's me going thru how I'm gonna frame my next question or transition into the next segment of the show.
@@LockedOnFalcons He is? Yikes, and I thought my team had bad coverage, sorry falcons fans.
WORST FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK IN NFL HISTORY
Shut up 🎻
😂 okay Madden GM
@@Angrychef-jx8bp you either wasted 180 million or you wasted #8 draft pick
@@user-mp6dl7wc9z Or you don’t want to sit around twiddling your fingers wondering what’s next at QB either if Kirk doesn’t come or Penix doesn’t fall to you. And the team clearly misses a competent player at the helm since Ryan left. Next years class mixed with the teams that’ll need QBs is another reason to take and sit Penix if sitting a rookie QB was the plan anyway. Plus the “knocks” on Penix are all hypothetical, I’d be more worried about age or injury history if he was a skill position player or even a lineman, but the position is mental mostly
@@user-mp6dl7wc9z Worst in History? Now we are all Falcons fans, I'm not trying to change your mind. I was upset when we picked Penix too. But I liked Penix before the draft and if they got a good player then that's what matters most. Rather they pick a good qb that has to sit for 2-3 yrs than another shitty pass rusher. Wouldn't you feel that way?
