I don't find the dude cringe, because it's impossible to put myself into his position. The premise of cringing is the pain of imagining yourself in that persons position after doing or saying something stupid & the potential regret later apon realizing how much of a fool you made yourself. He doesn't reflect on his actions or regret them in the slightest, he doesn't care how other people see him, self respect isn't a thing in his world, except in the narcissistic way. To accept fault or question himself & his actions is to weaken his will, and his self worth relies on his ability to exercise his will. His philosophy is to truly care only about yourself, do what you want if you can come out comfortable enough/unharmed & justify every action because there is no right or wrong, there is only benefit or depletion / win or lose.
Many people work this way, but they have enough self awareness to recognize the harm their stupidity can bring them self, or that their actions can get in the way of things that they consider valuable & beneficial to them, so they try not to sabotage their self. If you can still cringe about his actions, it'll be because you don't fully understand his values & give the benefit of doubt (like Starkilla saying "I don't believe you're a bad person"; because it's scary to accept people like this exist), or you'd have to actively share the mindset & recognize his inefficiency in achieving his goals.
The only thing I feel for him is disgust.
