Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentleman
Today I will be talking about the Entrepreneurship Development Program at the HEIs and Universities. I have divided the topic into three parts
In the first part I will be discussing the issues related to the Development of Entrepreneurship Development Program at HEIs & Universities
In the second part I will be discussing the issues related to Designing of Entrepreneurship Development Program at HEIs & Universities
And in the third and concluding part I will be discussing about the Teaching Pedagogy and Propositions for ENTREPRENUERRSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AT HEIs and UNIVERSITIES
The presentations are based on the review of scientific literature that I have been reviewing for quite some time for my research work.
Entrepreneurship Development Programs are important for every country but it has special relevance to our country considering the size of population and the unemployment statistics.
In this context Universities and the Higher Education Institutions across the country have the highest potential for developing Student Entrepreneurship. There are numbers of encouraging schemes and programs of state and central Govt. for Entrepreneurship Development. Indian Governments initiatives on SKILL DEVELOPMENT and MAKE IN INDIA are focused in embracing Entrepreneurship Development at National & International Level.
Having said that the number of Entrepreneurial Ventures and Initiatives reported by these HEIs and Universities are very insignificant leaving aside the top 20 institutions across the country like IITs and IIMs
This is the right time for revisiting the designing and implementing of ENTREPRENERUSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS BY HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS and UNIVERISTIES for accessing their potentiality with reference to Scientific Research recommendations.
In this series of presentation we will be discussing the DEVELOPMENT, DESIGNING and TEACHING aspects of ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT AT HEIs and UNIVERSITIES.
