    You are really a great teacher, you are the only one to me who can explain things in a very good way, fast, but not too fast. You also have a very pleasant voice to listen to. I've already learned so much from your videos, you're really the best. Keep doing the great work!!

      @@TheAdminBar I'm a teacher myself and have made dozens of tutorials in the past. You have a natural way of presenting without any ego (!), and that is very pleasant. Your tutorials are not about you but about the subject you want to teach, which makes you stronger as a teacher.

    Excellent video, I'm currently working on a magazine-style site in which I'm using multiple query loops with multiple taxonomies. Taxonomies can span multiple query loops so this requires that I somehow keep track of the already visible posts, I haven't figured that one out yet. Thanks for your videos, they've been a great help in using GP/GB!

    Thank you very much for the phantastic and helpful video! To know how to add pagination - so you can show a defined number of (custom)posts this way - and if interested the viewer could use pagination to see more posts would be so very useful! Wish i knew how to do that!!

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  Рік тому +2

      The Query Loop block has the option to add pagination with the click of a button. When you select the query loop block, the toolbar will have a "+" icon, which will add the pagination.

    Hi, with several blog posts, how is pagination handled if I want to limit it to three posts, as in your example.

    When it comes to columns, do you prefer the grid block or using the new flex box container in Generateblocks? Nice video as always. I have to admit, this is one of the yt channels I take a lot of inspirations.

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  Рік тому

      Thanks Jack!
      I prefer the grid block for just establishing columns... The "macro" layouts. Just less to fiddle with.
      But for smaller things, like putting two things next to each other, the flex controls are great.

    Awesome work ! Thank you so much Kyle!!! The only thing I can't solve yet is variation within a query loop, by using a different grid layout (different sizes of containers) Ele custom skin grids (Elementor only) but then in GP.

    Hey, I've been using query loops recently and I am stuck on making a pagination. How do I make pagination with the query loop? I am creating a blog template where there are 10-12 posts and at the bottom there is a pagination option to navigation across other pages. The prebuilt pagination option does not have the styles I want and it is harder to customize. Please suggest me what should I do. Thanks

    Hello, thank you so much for this awesome video, i used to make website with elementor but with generatepress as theme, but every design i use with elementor so im kinda confused with gp/gb. my silly question is when you make this it's on pages or elements? my clients wants their web use gb with very minimal elementor. it has many different categories, for each categories should i make on different elements? thanks!

  • @jaskaransingh12345
    @jaskaransingh12345 Рік тому +1

    I never use generatePress and its plugins before. So it's quite overwhelming for me to create like this.
    Although I spent one hour to watch 10 minutes but I also created the same layout by side.
    Thanks a lot Sir for sharing this tutorial.
    One question- what is the feature image size you recommend to use?
    That's the part where I was getting stucked

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  Рік тому

      It depends on your layout. Don't size it any bigger than how it will ever be shown on the front end. Using WebP can really help reduce the file size. I also use ShortPixel for optimization, which helps a ton.

    Quick question, the staggered titles work absolutely fine when the CSS is inserted in to the CSS section of the Customiser. However, when moving said CSS to the styles.css file of my child theme it no longer takes effect!.. I know styles.css is being used as other CSS is working.
    Any ideas?

    How many query loops are too many? Is there a way to check performance?

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  Рік тому +1

      Yeah, hard to say exactly. Every time you're querying the database you're gonna take a hit... I would do it as few times as possible.
      I do know I had one site that had 8 on the home page (an affiliate blog site) and I still had it in the 90s for PageSpeed with the help of Perfmatters

    Can I publish only the posts under each category for each loop? And can I show the category name of each post in the loop? How?

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  Рік тому +1

      You'd have to use some custom code to show the category name INSIDE the loop, but it is possible.

  • @Whatreally123
    @Whatreally123 4 місяці тому

    Default Query block or even GP QLB doesn't have a "random" attribute. That's a big miss if one has a site where related posts section should show random posts and not the same list on every post. I know Advanced QUery Loops plugin does it, but should be part of the default block.

  • @sunflowerhk100
    @sunflowerhk100 Рік тому

    I have re-watched this again and honestly it is not so easy, when there are other much easier and free options like Kadence blocks, Xpost, Spectra with just clicking a few buttons instead of having to add css.
