The East in Brooklyn and AJASS in the Bronx

Take a look at this slow blues by this all-star jazz ensemble that performed at the Bronx Music Hall this past summer in honor of The East in Brooklyn and AJASS in the Bronx. The band contains not just one but 2 NEA Jazz Masters: Reggie Workman (bass) and Jimmy Owens (trumpet)--who is also part of the BMHC's Music Advisory Board. Other band members are George Brathwaite (horn) and Ronnie Burrage (drums).
