Dead ball is a factor as you both said, especially in Jingu which is a hitters park.. Injuries and aging players.. Bad pitching… Unless the rookies surprise us, the team is a wrap.. especially if Murakami makes the move to MLB
Watching from the Philippines as well! Giants fan here tho. Its so nice that there are people here trying to promote this sport such as what they did with the NGO Cebu Dreamers, which needs to be supported more by the masses. I hope baseball culture in the Philippines continues to grow. Thank you for this. 🫶
Any handshake deals that we need to hear about on Munetaka Murakami? Have the Mets signed him in secret yet? And why is NPB ruining baseball with all these great players?! 😉
Ohtani is the only superstar to come from the NPB in a decade.. Imanaga is the only other Japanese player to have played in an ASG in nearly a decade. Don’t believe the hype.
It's not the best way to play, but using a plastic whiffle ball bat (wrapped with electric tape) and a tennis ball is how we played in the projects in Boston. It gets the job done on an extreme budget! And you don't need gloves. I do think more people need to see that there are indeed cheap ways to get involved with the game of baseball. 🙏

Babe, I'll be back. I'm watching a Yakyu Cosmo video.

Right on. I hope the Philippines could be a strong team in the WBC eventually

@@tacosno409 My comment was a joke. Just me playing around with the narrative. 🙂
