That’s a beautiful ranch. You need partners or be a multi billionaire to purchase this place. You could just win the high end lottery. The ranch probably brings in enough money with all its amenities to pay for all the expenses, like cattle ranchers, the people working the oil refinery place and such. It is most definitely a beautiful place. Maybe it will come up for sale again around the time I win the lottery. I read in the comments that the new owner fired all the people working the ranch. Hopefully that means he’ll or she’ll need to sell it at a reduced price. I’d definitely bring back the ranchers.

My Great Grand Father was John, brother of Dan Waggoner. It sickened me to see the family squabble over the estate and end up selling it to a no good Yankee Carpet Bagger. The new owner said he would preserve the Ranch and keep the staff of workers and ranch hands on the ranch. What did the lying SOB do? He fired them without notice, many of whom worked the ranch for 2,3, and 4 generations.
Anyways. thanks for the nice tribute to Texas History and my family!!!!

How much was it sold for ?

With the history and resources of the DDD Ranch, it should have sold for at least $2-3 Billion Dollars.
I have something for the new owner that stole the property.
May your water wells dry up, your oil wells deplete, and the cattle stampede your next backyard wing-ding.

      I wondered at the price.
Why do people lie? I would be honoured to employ people that had worked the land so long. That's knowledge and loyalty beyond price.
Never fear, he won't have the price to pay for his sins in the end. Peace

One day this ranch will grow up to be a cattle station. Barely big enough to go to school. 🤭. But seriously it is a bit small.
