What I love about gardening is being outdoors with living things. I love the way my senses are engaged. The smell of the soil as I work with my hands. The feel of plants and flowers. The sight of sunlight dancing on the flora. I enjoy all the beneficial insects it attracts and helps, like honey bees and butterflies. It is pleasant and relaxing to my spirit.
