Gotta watch my "Milestone" video, where I finished welding up the chassis and demonstrated the end of the flexing chassis. The bolts also helped. Welding the brace too! The 318 can perform, ive seen a truck run 10s with a built 318. Thats definitely the California special stepside, they are Dodge made and pretty rare. If i cant find a 8¾ axle for my truck im going to do an explorer 8.8 with disc brakes. Those are also 5x4.5 pattern so pick your poison! Speaking of front suspension, i may have found a way to replace the lower control arms and spindles with ford stuff that uses Corvette bearings and brake kits. As far as what i can do directly, i can hook you up with a gauge panel for aftermarket gauges when your ready for it, thanks for the shoutout! 🙌
Oh definitely checking that out! I can make a fake California stepside. It’s actual Stepside Chevy bed I pulled off one of my donor C10s. See, atm I got the 72 body on a 92 frame. Definitely gonna be looking for your content on your brake discovery! As far as a cluster goes, for the time being, imma try doing a ACES EFI setup with a handheld buttttttt I’ll definitely like a more traditional cluster setup 🙂

@@TKSpeedShop I'm also doing aces, but I'll have the hand held more hidden, personal preference. I can also make a dash that mounts the handheld too
I say yes, to all of it. I would say go with the Explorer rear end. Love how it's going.
I’m definitely interested in the 8.8 swap, imma do some research on it. I know there’s something about the offset on the axle tubes.
Look up "Dodge Californian".
I’ve never seen that before! It definitely looks like a GM box. Interesting, thank you for sharing that!!!
