I don't know on what basis she said the age "13-14" of Indians having sex...like it's not common yet to have sex at the age of 13-14. Mostly people do it after crossing 18 or 20...I don't like when someone spread misconception about my country, like in many videos Yukta represents Indians in a wrong way, we need someone who represents us well !!

@@kingsman0058maybe not for majority, but Me and most of friends did the deed when they were 14-15 and at age of 20 , I was surprised to know how many of my classmates actually had sex before age of 20. I used think that this doesn’t happened in India , only me and my friends were exceptions.

I never took sex ed in middle school, so I've always asked my friends who took it. I love how each person has a different teaching of what sex is. It's really important to really teach kids to have safe sex. 😊

I love the fact how they all covered different aspects of sex education.
As a millennial American, I can say from my own experience that in middle school we were separated, boys and girls taught separately, and us girls were talked to about periods/puberty and 'No Means No' but sadly nothing more informative (I assume the same was taught to the boys, sans periods), then in high school we were taught about human reproductive anatomy (as a part of Biology) and minimal sex ed with kids able to skip the class if their parents signed off on it (only the kids from religious families did so)...it is of my opinion that sex ed is a hugely important topic of discussion for kids, not only to learn but to feel free to ask questions and find support, but sadly with every day that goes by here in the States the more restrictions are being placed state by state, from the 'Don't Say Gay' law in Florida that prohibits teachers from discussing ANYTHING that isn't strictly about cisgender-heterosexuality as well as girls being banned from speaking to ANYONE at school about their periods, several states banning any form of public Drag (dressing opposite of your birth assigned gender), states banning transgender health care to minors (such as puberty blockers and corrective surgery), and worst of all the overturning of Roe vs Wade that made abortion care accessible nationwide which has caused most states to criminalize it (meaning the people seeking abortions and the people providing abortions can face criminal charges, including one state pushing for life in prison as punishment)... proper sex ed needs to include reproductive anatomy, the act of sex and what it means for your mind and body, sexual orientation, the difference between gender(how you identify) and sex(what you biologically are on a chromosome level), STIs, birth control, proper consent(what constitutes rape; emotional/physical force, sex between a minor and an adult minor, sex with someone who is mentally/physically incapable of saying yes and meaning it, etc) , puberty...it's archaic to just tell children/young adults that there is only one way to be (cis/straight) and not to have sex or you'll die/go to Hell

I learned about sex and the reproductive system in 3rd or 4th grade because they would teach it together with the body (it was normalized) as how your body makes digestion or how your body moves etc. you also have "reproduce" after that I had my real first sex education class at middle school and it was more about the period and contraceptive plus diseases you can catch and normal questions like 'does it hurt the first time and why?'. Still, it wasn't anything new for anyone since we learned it as children and even had books about how a boy and girl love each other so they make love lol. Also, there was this series that we would watch for almost the whole year called the human body where many of these subjects were explained. Therefore here in Portugal (at least at the place I was raised) it was something very normal.

Same things are repeated with more details in 10th and 12th
we had sex ed in 10th class that was the only time any diagrams of reproductive system were shown
not to forget that chapter was taught so fast without explaining properly

we were introduced to sex education/reproductive system when we were in 5th grade but I learned about how yo prevent pregnancy and things like that in highschool and some are taught to me by adults outside school, I actually think that this should not be an awkward topic to be talked about but people are really awkward with this.😅

This is probably one of my favorite videos. You covered the basics, the science, what one needs to prevent AND consent. The only thing further would have to teach them examples of what feels good and what to do... but that is a bit much 😅😅😅
I Feel every Child Shall be taught all these at the right age:
1. Good or bad touch at the age 6 and 7 (sometimes explaining a child can be tough so get the right source to say and be cautious).
And Specially these topics shall be explained in a friendly and easy way, pregnency and all the topics are serious but it's a child. First Point.
2. Sex Education: at the age of 9-10~ About All Species or Humans. I would definitely like to educate my kids based on telling my love story with their father and tell them how we loved each other and produced cute little humans like them.
In this way they could acknowledge our love, meaning of love and how to have sex.
Would definately teach my son/daughter about safe sex (contraceptives anf birth pills) at the same time about Periods. And talk about infertility in men and women.
I would also speak them about the body changes and love their bodies.
Then teach them what happens during periods and how to handle them.
At the age of 12 i would teach them about LGBTQ+ community.
And at the age of 14- i would teach them motherhood.
Actually i am not an adult yet, this might sound stupid but thats what i plan.

Um, former American public school student here. At my school, Sex Ed started in 4th grade and, yes, by high school, condoms were available. Korean and UK teachers were the best.

In my state teachers aren't allowed to teach anything other than abstinence. In like 5th or 6th grade they separated boys and girls. For the girls they told us things like "you'll get boobs and get a period" and that was it. No anatomy, nothing about the boys, nothing about contraceptive etc. Looking back it was bad. Too late and not enough lol. Like I already knew more than that stuff from the internet. They didn't even talk about things like diseases. But we had multiple talks about "just say no to drugs" since like 2nd grade. Idk I just find it weird.
After 6th grade they didn't talk about it again till health where we had to take a test on abstinence.

And this frequent amount of sex and early age sex, is the reason in those same countries for the dropping birth rate. Sex used to be the way to make a baby, but now it has become more about sexual desire satisfaction. It's just not good for the Human development. Populations in modern countries are at risk bcz of this.

For me was when I was in 5th grade for sex education and purberty. cause that was most kids body starting to change are some girl had already start their periods or will to soon. They will give us a slip for our parents to sign if we want to learn about sex education in school or do you want the parents to teach us at home.
First time I heard about sex was in a kindergarten actually and I was 3y.o. Then I saw sex scene in some movie when I was 5y.o. But if we talk only about sex education it was in 5th class. Our school gives us books about sex and puberty and we also listened to a long talk.
for me in india when i was like 14 or 15 years old and was in 7th or 8th grade there were like one chater in 7th grade book which was reproduction in plants and and in 8th grade there were 2 chapters which were reproduction in animals and humans and another one was adolescence and thats it there was not any other sex education was taught to u in our school.....in india but in todays situation i want to say that indiareally do need to teacg sex education to their students....
