He’s talking about the layers, I believe. “4 track” was the recording standard for a while, back before limits on layers became functionally non existent. Considering that their original stuff was written in a garage-band style, I believe he’s capturing that vibe. 4 track- as in, just Ross, Matty, Adam, and George- no fancy layered ear candy or their trademark style of layers and layers of Rhythmic guitars

They're really similar to the Giorgio Armani AR8155 Sunglasses in Havana Blue - $347. But I'm not confident that they're the exact pair. I can't tell if the white on the sides are words or just a metal bar. And I'm not confident that the lens is the same color but it's the closest match I could find :')
