As a UM fan, I was at that game in Lincoln…their fans are simply outstanding: classy, kind, knowledgeable, and absolutely faithful to a team that’s been really bad for 15 years. I’m really rooting for them to turn things around, their fans deserve it!
Husker fan here, no one that is smart expected us to win, no one that is football smart thought we would keep up with Michigan with our inept offense. What was surprising was how easy Michigan moved the ball on the ground when East Carlolina gave up 3.9ypc. Nebraska fans have been demoralized enough over the last seven years we are kind of numb to it. We just hope we can get to 6 wins somehow, that would be like a National Championship these days, lol.
@@alexanderthegreatandterrib4589 we had a lot of years going from 1 lackluster bowl to another. it's our turn to have natty hopes and i bet eventually it'll be your team's turn as well.
@@DB-xp9px I actually didn't want Nebraska to spoil anything for Michigan cause we didn't deserve it, I want Michigan to win the title, couldn't believe they let TCU beat them last year, this is the year, its time Harbaugh gets it done. It will be good for the Big 10 too.
@@alexanderthegreatandterrib4589 yea, that TCU game, UM had sooo many self-inflicted wounds. it was miserable to watch. may we play at the top rather than the bottom of our game this time around. go blue
@@riverraisin1 oh yea, many of JJ's throws this year could've been picked by a better D. thankfully his coaches know this as well so hopefully they'll adjust the game plan when penn st and the suckeyes face off w/ us. go blue
@10:42 JJ made some amazing throws and threw many "dimes" in his career, but I would put this throw up there with any of them. The amazing accuracy, placing that ball perfectly; all while doing so while running to his left. You'd be hard pressed to find a better throw.
Why do all the other Big Ten teams have such excellent radio talent with smooth voices on their broadcasts and we can't seem to come up with one. Well, at least since Beckman. Ufer was incomparable so he doesn't count. Its been rough since Beckman. Ahh well, 1st world rich people problems.
Beckman was the epitome of college football radio voices. Along with NU's Greg Sharpe, Pete Arbogast at USC, and, I hate to say it, but OSU's Paul Keels. Some of the best voices for radio. Brandstatter was excellent as a color commentary guy for both Michigan and the Lions. Even though he wasn't a great play by play guy, I do miss hearing him. I like Jon Jansen doing color.
I like listening to Penn State's Steve Jones as well, but for different reasons. He sounds like he's got something stuck in his throat that won't quite go away, and it gets even more intense throughout the season. It's entertaining.
UM's offense finally looks like they were expected too. Ever since they benched Hinton for Ladarius Henderson. The defense has been dominant, their front 4 is one of the best in the nation. They remind me allot of the 97, 06, and 2016 defenses who were phenomenal.
"Ill advised throw...they got away with one"...LOL...LOL..."some of these throws, not exactly how you draw them up" Wrong, it's exactly how they were drawn up..."McCarthy doesn't love to run, but can" wrong again. The husker announcers were clueless
I just hope Harbaugh doesn't follow Beilein and Backich out to get away from Warde Manuel who's already ruined the basketball and baseball programs who were championship contenders. If we had a good AD we'd still have 3 powerhouse programs. Fire Warde before he destroys the football program.
Michigan fan here, Nebraska fans have a great radio team for football, I thoroughly enjoyed listening, thank you for sharing!

I’ve Read That Nebraska Fans Clip After a Home Game Win or Lose As Well Which is Very Classy From a Navy Fan
I love these opposing team radio call vids ty
Honestly, I can't imagine how frustrating it must have been for Husker fans to listen to this on the radio.
Go Blue
Right! I mean if this was UM losing like this is have to turn it off (probably after the first missed field goal after the half) too heartbreaking 😔

Love how they thought the ball was "knocked away at the last second" on Roman Wilson's 1st TD... WHAT A CATCH! 🤯💪🏈
i agree w/ the announcers that it was a super dangerous throw but can't argue w/ the results. go blue
.@DB-xp9px Those throws could end up as INTs against better defenses. But you can't discourage JJ from making throws he believes he can make.

Seriously… these dudes saw all the fantom calls
Love how at the end of the game their commentator was saying how it was all good fortune. Yeah, Roman Wilson is so lucky that he's good at football.
I really enjoy these radio call highlights
Please do this for the OSU game…I rewatch last years all the time
Grant and graham are going to be scary good this year

Love the videos, hope you keep it up! I’m sure it’s a lot of work, thank you.
I get great satisfaction listening to these each week lol
Still, Nebraska should be proud with how their season went. They were the best 3:9 team for too long.

Agreed. Karsch absolutely sucks. He sounds like he swallowed broken glass and then was repeatedly kicked in the nuts.
i miss ufer and that horn

Shoulda called nebraska's touchdown run - it was their only highlight all day

Mullings & Franklin are two pretty good backs behind Corum & Edwards!
These guys are good! 👍😊
What are you talking about?...JJ doesn't love to run...where'd you get that info??? JJ absolutely loves to run!!!
To be fair, he ran a lot less in 2023 than he did in 2022 so that might've been what he meant
God darn we were good.
Cupcakes, I gots cupcakes!!
Turns out... Everyone was Michigan's cupcake
8:31 11:58
The first touchdown :
The ball was against the helmet of the husker, not his neck.

They salty as fuck on this radio call 😂😂 i dont blame em tho
good announcer. go blue
You can tell the announcers are Neb fans. Immediately saying no catch. Lol
Result would’ve been the same as this game had they played in 97. Just saying
OMG the Nebraska PBP guy is so much better than Michigan's. SO. MUCH.
Sure.😂
I do like Doug, but his voice is a little hard to listen to at times. Gotta admit that.
He always has been fantastic radio caller
@@MrDuneedonDoug has the spirit and the chops, but I agree, his voice will take some getting used to.
Another cupcake opponent for Michigan.
Like everyone else didn’t have a cupcake schedule.
National Champs…good call
Last season everybody was cupcakes when we played them 😂😂
These announcers. Lyell Bremser they are not
