Congratulations!!!!!! Praying things are smoother from here on out for you, Sara. My Mom had endometriosis and other issues (including tumor removals) and was told she would never have kids. The doctors wanted to remove her uterus, but she fought for her rights and God eventually blessed her with 2 kids (me and my older sister). I am so glad your fallopian/uterine tubes were saved. My Mom had horrible pregnancies; the doctors advised her to abort me several times. They said either the baby dies or you keep the baby and you both die because we cannot save you both. She said, "If you kill this baby, you ARE killing me". She was vomiting and gagging 20+ times a day and ended up being on IVs all day, every day/in the hospital for months. She needed potassium and whatever else she could get because she was losing weight (even though she was pregnant). God brought her back when she died with me inside of her, and He brought me back when my heart stopped beating a week or two after birth. I am not sure what the future looks like, but I know that God is good and He still reigns. My Mom says it was 100% worth the pain for the joy of being a mother. "When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world." John 16:21. Do not lose heart, but take courage in the Lord your God. ❤
The whole "it doesn't feel real" thing is so true. Pregnancy happened to all of my friends, and I just watched for years, waiting my turn. When I was told I was pregnant, I didn't feel different, nothing was different, so it didn't seem real. And I almost wondered if the test was false (a doctor told me, so probably unlikely). But then I saw him in that first ultrasound, wiggling and moving, his heart beating. I cried, tears of some sort of relief and joy as it sunk in. He just turned a year old. And being parents has been so precious. Congratulations to Jordan and Sara! Your news brought tears to my eyes. So happy to hear the news.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Happy dancing for you! I will forever be grateful to you two for sharing Sara's story so I could go to the same endometriosis surgeon shortly after you did - what a life-changing surgery. We're expecting our own little miracle due close to the anniversary of my surgery!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SARAH. IS. HAVING. A. BABY!!!!!! Congrats!!!! We are so happy for you!!! Praying for a safe pregnancy and happy healthy mom and baby!!!
With all 3 of our babies, the 20 week anatomy scan ultrasound really helped me feel connected to the baby and the pregnancy felt so much more real! Happy for you two!
I'm so so so excited for you guys ❤️ I am having twins in July and I have a 2.5 year old! You guys are going to love being parents and make wonderful parents. God bless you both and your little one🎉
Wow!! What a miracle!! I’m pregnant with my first too! Praying for you both. Praying for health of baby and Sara throughout all the changes of pregnancy. So excited for you two!
Congratulations! Time, and many seasons of life, really flew by. It's incredible to see what God has done with the Taylor family over the years. Many prayers for you, Sara, and your little one!
Congratulations you guys! What an exciting start to this new adventure. I am an ultrasound tech up in Canada, and would definitely recommend a second trimester ultrasound for Baby Taylor. There is no radiation involved in ultrasound and it is very safe. The purpose of the “anatomy ultrasound” isn’t just about seeing the baby or finding fetal gender or even about wanting to abort babies with defects - there are so many surgically correctable defects that we can find on ultrasound that can be fatal or have long term consequences for baby if they aren’t identified prenatally. Also, there are “peripheral” things we check for - like placental issues (is it blocking the birth canal, is umbilical cord connected in the right spot), cervical issues (is the cervix doing its job to keep the baby in, does the umbilical cord run across the cervix), etc. I can understand not wanting to do excessive number of ultrasounds or wanting minimal medical intervention, but the 2nd trimester ultrasound is super important.
Ultrasounds in the second trimester are mostly safe and can be helpful, but ultrasounds absolutely do have risks and are not 100% safe, especially early ultrasounds.
After previous videos, I honestly was expecting this would be about some new animal you were getting 😆I was genuinely surpised!! Congratulations to you both!!!
Congratulations to you both, I am so happy for you!! On Monday I will be 15 weeks pregnant and I have also had a very rough time. Hyperemesis, hospital visit for IV, etc. It makes me so happy that we are becoming first time moms at the same time, I have cared a lot about you guys since I was a kid and now we’re all having our own. Praise God. You will be in my prayers and I am so happy and excited for everything to come!
Also I was following her endo journey last year and was in chronic pain myself for a while. I thought I may have been experiencing endo as well… it turns out I had appendicitis for four months. It took so many doctors to figure it all out. By the time I had surgery on august 31st there was so much scar tissue that my appendix was stuck to my Fallopian tube. I got to keep it, and I found out three months later that I was pregnant! Life is crazy. God has been good to us.
Congratulations! I know exactly what you mean by everything not feeling real. When my first daughter started moving around, it started getting real. The ultrasound helped as well.
Praise. The. Lord!! I've been waiting for this. Jordan, I can see how well you are taking care of your wife. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and having a husband that selflessly cares for his wife is a tremendous gift from God. Good job!
Congratulations! I still remember the Jamaican Banana from the fair video (how time flies). I’ll be honest, after previous fake outs with past video titles, I thought “is this really real?”, but I’m really happy for you guys, especially with Sara making it through a tough surgery. God Bless your growing family 🎉
Ahhh!!!!! Congratulations you guys!!!!!🎉 I was am so excited for you both🎉 like I'm as excited for you as when I found I was pregnant for the first time!!! I've followed you guys from the very beginning of Blimy Cow. I have 5 precious kiddos of my own and am so happy you guys will get to experience the joy of bringing a sweet child into this world. ❤ Praying for you all❤
When I saw the thumbnail I squealed and did a happy dance in my chair! I know many people who are affected by endometriosis and PCOS and I know having a baby can be a challenging thing with those conditions. Congratulations!
Watching your reaction when Sara told you brought tears to my eyes. Such a special moment. I had really bad nausea when I was pregnant. Very difficult thing to go through.
