God I remember seeing this. I didn't see the initial landing but clearly remember seeing the aircraft come to a stop right ahead of me.
I remember this well..glad nothing worse happened after the nosewheel collapsed but it ruined the rest of the day as the runway was blocked for some time..I eventually got bored and left.
Brings new meaning to 'kicking the tires and lighting the fires'.
The nose gear collapsed.. it didn't crash

I remember this...I remember thinking "it could have been a lot worse" - and let's be fair, this was no-where near as bad as it could have been. Thankfully.
They should have known not to land with the nose wheels first.Ruined the day as the nimrod could not take off it just taxied down the runway.
+DIDCOTTWIST Wrong, it's just that they had too hard of a touch down, so it bounced up, and then hit back down harder.
I was sitting right next to the end of the runway with an MOD policeman. So cool. I'm going again this year!

Good job of missing the fire department's initial attack of the fire with dry chemical extinguisher.
Glad they did not flood it with foam which would hamper the air show.
Cause? Landing looked OK and not "hard".
it could have been a lot worse,plane manage to handle the crash means well designed,but the fire service was crap....

The pilot landed going too fast and thus there was too much force on the front landing gear to stop! Also when he landed, the front gear touched before the main gear did. Just another video of a bad pilot.
