He needed to run away back to the preferential treatment of Flavio Briatore who made Alonso's teammate deliberately crash into a wall so that he could win a race at Singapore 2008. - This is the true Alonso. He needs and expects the team to only support him and sabotage his teammates. This much is crystal clear and when he didn't get what he wanted in 2007 he had a mental breakdown and resorted to blackmail. Its absolutely pathetic and so are his dishonest fans.
Interesting watch. I wonder what came of the young rookie. It would be amazing if he makes it onto the podium. Fingers crossed
I hope he gets 200 more podiums someday.
What a different team they are today. Completely different feel to their corporate structure.
Would love to see LH44 Career through LH eyes of coarse but through the eyes of his father, Anthony Hamilton & Ron Dennis. Imagine that movie?
FMD
The young rookie was about to join the real legends of the sport
Lewis could’ve ended with 10-11 titles
2007 - china dnf, poor call by McLaren and lost title by 1 point
2012 - Spain dnf due to brake failure from 2nd, lost title by 16 points
2016 - DNF/Reliability woes especially Malaysia where he was easily winning, lost title by 5 points
2021 - Abu Dhabi farce, human error title
Anyways it is what it is, Lewis is an all time great and will be remembered for forever.
He could have ended up with 1 if he joined Red-Bull pre 2013 like he wanted.
34:16 .. No, not really.
Lol. That's absolutely hilarious.
@@ahcarielLaughing all the way to the toilet like Alonso's career? Ending up out of a championship contending car only for your rookie teammate to win the championship in that car instead of you and you never ever win another championship in the sport ever again while your rookie teammate goes on to win seven?
I like Alonso's dad. Offering both his kids the cart😏
41:54 I was hoping that Lewis didn't die.....
THANKS for this upload! - 2007: The year Alonso was 'humbled'.
"Mclaren produced champions", but Hunt wasn't the first... poor work of history here.
I felt the same when i didn't saw Fittipaldi. But Mclaren itself, doesn't forget him.
Little did we all know. Gotta give him credit. Some Story
“Will this car be the making of a triple world champion and put a rookie on the podium?” I wonder how the later turned out? When the car launches were a big deal.
I remember it was pretty flamboyant lol
With spy gate McLaren was chasing the dream
29:50 Lewis already complaining about his tyers and it wasn't even a race yet lol. the man never changed.
All the damn driver's complain about their tyres not just 7x World Champion Lewis. He wants to win races in a car that has good tyres, what's wrong with that??
Alonso couldn't adapt to the Bridgestones, and Lewis was just a rookie. They were both slower than Kimi was 2003-2006. Mark Hughes wrote an article in 2007 where McLaren engineers compared Kimi vs Alonso:
"...they have yet to see the Raikkonen-like devastating high-speed precision that wrings every last gram of speed from the car..... the raw speed doesn't seem to be coming as easy as it did to Kimi."
Dream.
Kimi too was never the same after Michelin/Newey.
@@fernandosantos4763 Newey held Kimi back with his unreliable designs. Kimi won the title the first year WITHOUT Newey. Alonso never won without a mass damper. Kimi was the best on the Michelin tyres, that is correct. He definitely was hurt by Michelin leaving.
Alonso is a talented human.
But Kimi is an alien. A special talent.
Hamilton? We don't fear him either. We saw his mistakes.
@@ciaronsmith4995Yet Alonso thrashed Kimi as Ferrari teammates in 2014 - bring on the excuses 🤣🤣🤣
@@gilles2798 Different era, rules and circumstances. Irrelevant to the discussion.
@@ciaronsmith4995 3 excuses in one comment, great job 🤣
Now we find out that Mclaren mechanics did little things to sabotage SLH! Alonso giving money to Mechanics!! 🤨🤨🤨😬😬😬

Brundle hasn’t changed in all these years. Was he born middle aged?
boy george will miss him from 2025,
Karma karma karma karma chameleon
Shameful year for the honor of Dennis and mclaren. Lied claiming equal opportunities for drivers. This video shows how Dennis supported for years Lewis through sponsorships, when he thought Lewis had a chance, he dumped alonso. Shame!!!
did you even watch the doc
Fernando is Aiight
Meanwhile, in Finland, Kimi is having a beer 🍺

The most overrated driver lineup. Peak Kimi > Alonso.
Kimi was the best driver McLaren have had this century at his peak. He had a garbage 2006 McLaren yet still got 3 poles.
I thought this video is about 2 drivers, but it's only about 1 driver. I guess what happened in 2007 were going to happen regardless as long as it involves a british team and a british driver
its better at 1.25
When the world was normal....men and women were allowed to be as such and refer to each other as such. We really have gone backwards 🤦🏻♂️
I was a big fan of Hamilton in his first few years, even in 2007 where Fernando was my favourite and he still is. What the hell happened to Hamilton man, he use to be so likeable and humble. Even the way he talks is different back then, now he speaks like some arrogant American wannabe now. So sad that he's so unlikeable now.
What a ridiculous comment. As you get older you change. Hamilton confidence and believe in himself means he’s now the all time statistically the best driver ever. Ron Denis is a genius and what a decision he made to back Hamilton.
Was Mclaren car? Or Ferrari Car? Because Mclaren was more interested in spy Ferrari
Ferrari handed the info to McLaren. McLaren never asked for the info
Such a shame, it started out with a young , talented hamilton, and ended with an egotistical spoilt brat.
Xzzzz 7x✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
I'm surprised how a young Hamilton reacts very grown up but now I see an older Hamilton trying to look like a youngster ..get a life man !
