I guess ping has a major role in doing this 2 tile method? At night times when the worlds die down I never take damage, but when its over 1k players my character slows down when clicking back and forth and take unnecessary damage.

Back then I wasn’t good at counting ticks so I did this method instead of walking 3 tiles at a time. They both work fine, this one is just more clicking
Count the attack, after 6 normal attack/fireballs, he will do a crumble undead, or acid phase, and if he does a crumble undead phase, the next special will 100% be acid, so you can prepare.
@@ZeroPints Its actually 3-2 clicks alternating because he's on auto retaliate. He clicks the two back tiles then the boss then back on the two tiles and his auto retaliate hits the boss again then rinse and repeat.

I always try to stay in the middle one, and the other two are marked if I need to dodge a fireball so that I don’t accidentally click 1 space away instead of two. Basically it’s just personal preference

what can i do to stop taking so much magic dmg from vorkath? I barely get 3 kills per trip using void with dhcb and i got 90 range. I only get hit by the mage attack but its like 20s and 30s everytime? Any ideas?
Train your magic level and/or use masori armor. Make sure you get a dragonfire ward if you're not already rocking one. There's honestly not much you can do except hope he doesnt spam the mage attack.
Me: I can do this Vorkath on my 3rd kill during trip- does 6 consecutive mage attacks, 1 special, 5 consecutive mage attacks, special, another batch of full mage which is followed by no more food and a teletab out of there. P.S- not even kidding. Was having a good day when i got my full void and upped my average kills on trip from 2 to 3 until this happened on my last trip.

i feel like the biggest reason i only manage 2-3 kills a trip is because of no woox walk. in theory you do way more damage so you also take less damage by being able to kill him faster. i need to fucking practice and learn it already but my internet sucks ass. great vid btw. i also just bought a dhcb and honestly it barely makes a diference.. its all about mechanics and max dps
Never, because it always asks for a confirmation before you leave. Sometimes it can still mess you up, since you'll be stuck on it long enough to get hit by 1 fireball. As long as you aren't slow with your clicks, you shouldn't get stuck on that part.
woox walk? TL;DR yes. I click to the very back to start so the attack drags me a space, every tick I 1. Attack Vorkath 2. Walk diagonal to the back row 3. Walk to where I attacked from since there is no poison there 4. Walk back to the previous tile 5. Walk back to the previous tile There are probably easier ways to do it but this is just how I learned it. Also using tile indicators from Runelite helps a lot
This probably wont help you, so its more for any other newcomer that stumbles on this question but; you pray mage if you dont use a dragonfire ward or antidragon shield so you get breath and magic immunity. If you have one of those shields then you protect range since you no longer have to worry about breath attacks, and the ranged attack is stronger than the mage attack.
I couldn't find much info but what do you suggest in terms of what to do to reduce how much magic damage im taking. I run the same setup however the mage hits constant 25s and 30s. Currently 90 range, 83 magic 79 def.

@@thaimmigrant I quit some time ago but i did around 700 Vorkath, blowpipe range is maybe 3-4 squares from Vorky, only crossbows allow you to fire from the back. Also, if you wanna commit to Vorky, learn the method where you can DPS while he shoots the fire shit, that requires a crossbow.
I do 10 - 15 kills per trip at Zulrah using Twisted Bow and poh every 2nd kc for prayer/hp. 95% of people prefer Vorkath over Zulrah, but 95% of people don't have a Twisted Bow either.
Tbow zulrah used to be great, but now the scale prices and unique prices have tanked to the point that it's not worth doing anymore. Vorkath with DHCB is so much more profitable than zulrah with tbow these days.
I always bring a super defence to reduce his range damage, I feel it's worth losing 1 food for as having an extra 20 defence levels will save more than 20 hp damage, is this valid?

I dont understand, My kills take so long 2 minutes to 2 :30 Just sometimes 1 :50, im 97 ranged and i do the woox walk perfectly, i use Max gear with dhcb... How you kill that fast

did you figure it out? i tried it tonight and it works very well. basically the DHCB is a 5 tick weapon so after he attacks vorkath he is alternating squares each tick for 4 ticks, and on the 5th tick he attacks vorkath again, and repeats til acid phase is done. the click to alternate squares should be done in time with the sound of vorkaths attack hitting you
Your getting super high rng and dps. You have to be using a DHC. My regular dragon crossbow doesn’t get anywhere near this fast or kills and I am currently only killing 1 vorkath per trip before banking I am probably close to doing 2 per trip but that’s likely the furthest I can with current gear. Also I have 99 max range
using void with salve? Im pretty new at vorkath and use the dragon crossbow as well usually get 3 maybe 4. ( 130ish ks) but before I unlocked rigour I did get 1 or 2 per trip sooooo

All my kill times range masively but are normally 2-2.5 mins, I always try to get a few hits in the acid phase but stuff up half the time. Am i doing something wrong or is rigour + elite void just so much better?
@@RedeemedOSRS 2-2.5 minutes sounds reasonable considering normal void/eagle eye. Even using a dhcb and using this method with regular void/eagle eye and depending on your range lvl 2 minutes seems fair. I'm 86 range, regular void/eagle eye without dhcb and using this method my kills are between 2-4 minutes depending on how good my hits are
The idea of extending trips is actually quite simple: 1. Learn Vorkath to the point where you only take damage from the blue balls 2. Speed up kills by always shooting bolts (woox walking and eating while frozen/between kills) 3. Turn off prayers when not using them 4. Keep doing/perfecting this for like 1000kc :P Thinking he could even use some brews (and replace the prayer pot for super restore) for longer trips, but that's probably not worth the cost.

You don't need anything extra, all the features I'm using are on the base client. Also make sure you got the client from the official website runelite.net
No matter what I do I can't get more than 3 per trip max. Mostly 2 per trip. I just take too much damage even with maxed gear, dragonfire ward, prayers and 90 defense. I just take too much damage I don't know what else to do, seems like there is nothing I can do. I don't take any damage from the acid phase, none from spawn, none from dragonfire bomb. Just the regular dragonfire is what ends up eating my health. I'm really just shit I guess
I can get upto 9 kills on that Inventory. But not worth it because I can't hold all the loot. I take 2/4 anti venom and 2/4 anti fire. Only 2 pray pot and a full bastion. Get my 4 kills and reset with a full inventory of loot.

dcb/acb aren't completely useless, significantly less dps, but doing 4-5 kill trips is much more chill. I blowpipe for the acid phase, too.

Sounds like you’re moving too late. Once you see him spit out the acid, stop what you’re doing and start walking and then you won’t get hit

if you want to get good at doing this focus on the sound cues and turn your game sounds up, from there it's just a bit of practice for consistency.

Not really, hides are barely worth anything compared to the other loot
He left maybe 24k on the ground with those 14 hides. 24k in 14 slots, better used for other loot.

How many times have you accidentally left the instance by clicking on exit when you woox walk?
Never, because it always asks for a confirmation before you leave. Sometimes it can still mess you up, since you'll be stuck on it long enough to get hit by 1 fireball. As long as you aren't slow with your clicks, you shouldn't get stuck on that part.

By any chance do you have 91+ mage? cuz I have 90 and 91 def and I still get hit hard with super anti fire and the shield you have?

I dont understand, My kills take so long 2 minutes to 2 :30 Just sometimes 1 :50, im 97 ranged and i do the woox walk perfectly, i use Max gear with dhcb... How you kill that fast

Rigour makes a world of difference. My fastest kill without Woox walk or this method is 1:07. I typically average around 1:45 per kill.
why are you using super anti fire? can't you just use extended antifire and the shield and pray range?

I don't understand how your woox walk works. I get 5-6 kill trips as well, so it is what it is.... but I tried the way you woox walk for shits and giggles and got WRECKED. Lol. Good shit though dude.
did you figure it out? i tried it tonight and it works very well. basically the DHCB is a 5 tick weapon so after he attacks vorkath he is alternating squares each tick for 4 ticks, and on the 5th tick he attacks vorkath again, and repeats til acid phase is done. the click to alternate squares should be done in time with the sound of vorkaths attack hitting you

Your getting super high rng and dps. You have to be using a DHC. My regular dragon crossbow doesn’t get anywhere near this fast or kills and I am currently only killing 1 vorkath per trip before banking I am probably close to doing 2 per trip but that’s likely the furthest I can with current gear. Also I have 99 max range
using void with salve? Im pretty new at vorkath and use the dragon crossbow as well usually get 3 maybe 4. ( 130ish ks) but before I unlocked rigour I did get 1 or 2 per trip sooooo
What are the tiles you marked
Inner ones are where I stand usually, and the outer ones are where the spawn lands if I'm in the middle tile
The not woox walk what ever you would call what your doing in the faze helped me a lot
Quick tip on the banking part use bank fillers and remove your bolts/pouch placeholders y can 1click store inf and keep them in there

@@Shwrecked hey mate I'm a 60 attack zerk and have 350 kills at vorkath but only recently started using the DHCB. All my kill times range masively but are normally 2-2.5 mins, I always try to get a few hits in the acid phase but stuff up half the time. Am i doing something wrong or is rigour + elite void just so much better?
@@RedeemedOSRS 2-2.5 minutes sounds reasonable considering normal void/eagle eye. Even using a dhcb and using this method with regular void/eagle eye and depending on your range lvl 2 minutes seems fair. I'm 86 range, regular void/eagle eye without dhcb and using this method my kills are between 2-4 minutes depending on how good my hits are

The idea of extending trips is actually quite simple:
1. Learn Vorkath to the point where you only take damage from the blue balls
2. Speed up kills by always shooting bolts (woox walking and eating while frozen/between kills)
3. Turn off prayers when not using them
4. Keep doing/perfecting this for like 1000kc :P
Thinking he could even use some brews (and replace the prayer pot for super restore) for longer trips, but that's probably not worth the cost.

Nice vid, but that woox walk looks unnecessarily complicated. There's a much chiller method that still lets you get 5 hits in every time.
ur right, this was back when i couldn't count ticks well so this was easier for me to pull off

No matter what I do I can't get more than 3 per trip max. Mostly 2 per trip. I just take too much damage even with maxed gear, dragonfire ward, prayers and 90 defense. I just take too much damage I don't know what else to do, seems like there is nothing I can do. I don't take any damage from the acid phase, none from spawn, none from dragonfire bomb. Just the regular dragonfire is what ends up eating my health. I'm really just shit I guess

I can get upto 9 kills on that Inventory. But not worth it because I can't hold all the loot. I take 2/4 anti venom and 2/4 anti fire. Only 2 pray pot and a full bastion. Get my 4 kills and reset with a full inventory of loot.

That woox walk was illegal
The thing that shortens my trips is the Ice ball attack. It hits so hard that I eat through all my food. Anyone have any hits to lessen the damage
