I'm nowhere as experienced as you but I think that Nerdseq would indeed be a wonderful addition to a system like yours. It works also really well with a Mimetic companion for that extra hand on variations :-) + Nerdseq's chords generation is insane :p Very cool jam !
Thanks! I've had a Nerdseq before but sold it because it can do too much and I just used 5% of it. For jams like this all those abilities are definitely a benefit though.
@@SCALPEL-y1r Even though that's an interesting device, it doesn't cover what I'm "missing" here: long evolving sequences that I can control. Also: drum sequencing for more variation and not being at the mercy of whatever rhythms are in the Zularic.
No f***ing way! That bassline at 1m55s was great, but it was the drums that completely threw me. I did NOT expect that. My ears were hearing the melody in a totally different way, then the drums just totally changed everything. This is just bloody wonderful.
To be honest, having muted the drums for a few minutes I wasn't really sure anymore where the beat was. Luckily I don't have to play the drums live and the machine is never wrong.

@@briesmodularyeah that’s the « problem » with Nerdseq. Maybe something like the melodicer could be fun too :p

Isn't that awesome? I love when the introduction of a new sound re-contextualizes everything you've been hearing up to that point.

@@briesmodular Good point. Being a human metronome is a lot of pressure.
Sick! Great rhythmic interplay.
Nice jam 👍
very cool sesh..
I liked the slow build-up and subsequent melodic/bass and percussion lines.
Thanks Philip =) In hindsight I like it a lot as well. Takes a while to 'forget' the performance issues I had and just let the track be a track.
Damn, that's good.
Thanks!
It’s lovely, I would say with fewer sequencers you got an equal amount of quality….
Thank you so much. It's a challenge but worth it.
Awesome!!
