THE SURF IN QUEENSLAND IS USUALLY SMALL SO THERE IS NO TIME TO WARM UP TO THE STAND UP TUBES . JUST GRAB A BOARD AND GO !!!

Grew up in Brissie till 2004. Had some epic Kirra days in the 90s back before it got super crowded. Best wave I ever had was in '03 on a day like this and I got the legendary Bommie, caught everyone else inside. Rode it all the way from Snapper through Greenmount right past little groyne Kirra where it finally closed out and snapped my leash. Got pitted in and out like 4 or 5 times. Sickest wave I ever rode probably

nice clip mate. i can appreciate the work that went into it.. and the strength it would take not to be in the water and film. if only you uploaded it the same day as the swell you would have had so many more views. but keep up the good work and they will come. do you have instagram?
thanks mate really appreciate your feedback . I surfed in the morning before I started filming . I was slow to edit the footage because I work long hours . I don't have a Instagram for surfing yet . hopefully we get another big swell this summer :)
KIRRA at it's best during cyclone season. Australia and New Zealand both got the biggest waves this summer... a nice big
