When I first chance upon it, I was a little taken aback as it wasn’t the typical watch our eyes were used to seeing. Spectacular movement 👌 A couple of “only if”s regarding design elements, but overall its an exceptional timepiece from an exceptional watchmaker. Thank you for the in-depth review while accompanied by the ceo no less :)
If they had replaced the chronograph's second track with a minimal one that doesn't have those red highlights or sub seconds markers that were made redundant by the fact that it's not a chronograph. I understand the desire to make that elusive sporty dress watch fusion. But that has already been achieved by the Streamliner's case & bracelet design and perfected with the smoked gray dial. And if the logo under the 12hr marker was more pronounced/visible. These are just my personal thoughts. I'm nowhere near as qualified as the people responsible for giving us masterpieces like these.

I discovered H Moser & Cie back in 2008 clean dials, shapely hands, scalloped case sides, first the Mayu and Monard, and then the perpetual calendar with that oh so subtle month indicator. Lovely. Here in the sporty interpretation, with the Streamliner, in terms of looks when it was new, to me, it was all about the bracelet. This one, I like the signature clean dial and that month indicator which looks almost art decoish. All good sports watches do well having the winder at 4 o'clock. This watch would be a killer in solid gold, too.

I know he wants to keep the dial like a 3 hand time only watch, but an identical aperture for the Day would look good. It’s also good you can change it back and forth around Midnight, like Rolex’s Sky-Dweller Annual Calendar which uses the 12 hours for the month like the Streamliner QP as well. This has 12 ATM/ 120m when Rolex has 100m and most Patek Philippe have 50m for the 5740 QP and their dress QP just 30m. They don’t need to hide for sure 😉
Bravo, Alexander for the video- excellent as usual. Every single Moser watch is glorious and I'm glad they have scratches. It shows they've been used and appreciated! The bracelet does remind me of Linde Werdelin's bracelet, which is fantastic. A break from the usual design style of mainstream watches.
Thanks for sharing our passion and your positive feedback! It is so true what you write… Exceptional design paired with state of the art Swiss watchmaking…
I really wish I have the money to have the perpetual calendar
I wished too… thanks for sharing your passion with us…
First comment. Another great interview by monsieur Alexander 👏
Thank you 🙏🏻 I am happy to read this!
any coupon code?.... just kidding
He he! That’s a good one 🤣
Just go to thefctory and ask if they have seconds :-)
How come the watch is so scratched already
All watches filmed were not new! The chronograph was Edouard’s personal watch and the other models from a collection shown to the trade and customers. The perpetual calendar was one of the first one Moser built so it got through several hands already…
Snoopy got jealous.
The hand reminds me ebel
cool but the streamliner looks like it scratches very easy
All watches scratch if they are worn on a daily base… the ones we filmed were not new… the chronograph belongs to Edouard and the other watches are ones that are shown to the trade and clients …
Yep. Brushed exposed case can do that. Same as pp nautilus and AP royal oak
Rich People dont wear Rolex😁😁
Why do you think this is the case, do you have any evidence?
@@WatchAdvisor well, best example is this Moser & Cie Watch
I am shocked to see such a cheap butterfly clasp at 18:17
It is not a question of “cheap” or “expensive” … but design … if you wish to be congruent, you don’t have many other choices than the clasp you see..
@@WatchAdvisor I would expect at least the finish matching the bracelet. Brushed at least. Nevertheless a great interview again and I am enjoying my AP folding clasp ;-)
Onzin filmpje over een product dat nergens te krijgen is. Zelfde als Rolex. 😕 🇳🇱
Can you please translate your comment into English? Thanks 🙏🏻
@@WatchAdvisor I speak some Dutch 😊 … he is complaining about the product availability… there is not where to get it and becoming kind of Rolex (waiting list and so on)
That’s due to the very limited production of Moser watches… Edouard talks about in the video!
Clearly overpriced brand.
Says who?
Your are clueless or have never owned a perpetual calendar. The Flash Calendar feature change is a first and one of the items allowing Moser to win the GPHG in '06 with the Perpetual 1.
