@@cambyrd9125 I have three young children and I agree with a lot of what you said. I do fear indoctrination too thought. There are ways to get your views and values across without going too far. I have one kid who is verging on TMs stuff being appropriate but I can definitely teach them his principles in other ways and have been since well before he started rapping. There is always that point where kids rebel and I just don’t want them to rebel against the right values. If they see it as preaching, they will see it as indoctrination eventually then they can be easy prey and easily manipulated. All we can do is live the life values we teach so we aren’t hypocrites and just be honest. Break down the real life situations in a way that is as apolitical as possible. Show the holes in both sides like Tom does then hope the values we teach stick and they stay the course for years to come.

If we’d all come together they wouldn’t know what to do.
Tom is real he's the only one with the balls to speak to the public about it because you can't say it to just anyone or you will get beat up or cause a war you never intended a lot of his songs tell the truth. We moved into a black community thinking we aren't racists we don't teach our children to be that way we teach them God loves and made everyone my child was attacked walking home and beat up by a group of black children and they recorded it and posted it to the internet. Before that when we first moved in my husband and I have bullets shot through our bedroom window. If my oldest non verbal son didn't wake us up at 2 am 15 min before bullets were shot through our window my husband would have been shot sleeping in our bed next to me. My youngest was told to kill himself by another child after we moved here because he's white red hair and freckles. It literally goes both ways the only way things are going to change is us teaching our children different than the media and older generations have taught. It's the same for both races it's just not in the media for whites because the media wants war

The bullying is really bad on all my kids here I have pulled them all out of school and they are now officially all home schooled until we can move back to our hometown
@@shannonrenis it's never a nice thing to hear about someone truly innocent being bullied, but it is nice to hear about parents doing the right thing and removing the situation altogether. I wish my parents had pulled us out, too. However, he never really knew how many fights I got in when I'd overhear things or when they were said directly to me. He found out about them only a few years ago and it has been a sort of bridge in our once-fractured relationship that's helped us to grow closer. It's awful what happened to him, but I try to look at the bright side of things. Us being "friends" again is one of the best things that could have happened to two siblings that never really got along... I don't want to say that it made the bullying okay, but it seriously warms my heart that he can experience something that awful and still strive to make himself better. I wasn’t sure whether or not racism was something you were born with and this incident opened my eyes. Racism is taught and after the last year, I feel really sorry for our children’s children. Kids growing up seeing rioting looting and killing in the name of black lives. On the flip side, black kids being taught every cop is out to kill them.
