Tesla's decision to manufacture its own batteries is still highly ignored. It was a brilliant move and will pay for itself many times over in the years to come. And that's only one small piece of their vertical integration.
TSLA will be the king of the real world AI if you combine FSD, robotaxi and robotics. TSLA will be the first company to reach $10T market cap long term. TSLA has made me more than 10x return last 10 years, and I expect more in the next 10 years. My mantra for TSLA “Invest in TSLA, trade a bit, but hold the CORE”. I also like semis a lot. I own massive shares of NVDA for 6 to 7 years, but I have been reducing NVDA, and adding TSM, AMD and MRVL. QCOM is a large amount investment for more than 10 years which started to catch up with other semis. Long term, semis will outperform any other sectors, except TSLA.
Recommend you don’t plan on retiring on Resla stock. They’re going to be stuffed. Lower sales, lower margins,less capital for all of the other fanciful fairytales in the dreamworld of Musk. Doesn’t leave the company in a great position. Hybrid tech is taking over. The EV revolution is over
Elon said that 2024 sales will be slightly higher for YoY. Not losing ground against the backdrop of the new product and service announcements is impressive as Tesla tirelessly plays its COGS like a fiddle. Having analysts getting fired up about ROBO and OPTIMUS against all this is very refreshing, and we need to savor what's happening.
Before, car sales were increasing by 50% every year, and the stock price was high as a result. Now, FSD/Robotaxi are the primary drivers. What will happen to car sales and margins? FSD/Robotaxi should boost the stock price, but it should complement car sales rather than replace them.
In a recent meeting with JPMorgan Tesla's Director of Investor Relations said they will build robotaxis off the next generation platform that won't launch until the company is much closer to fully utilizing its existing production capacity, which may take several years. The Tesla Investor Relations team went on to say Tesla's next wave of growth will be led by the introduction of lower cost models (plural) that are expected to roll out in force by 2025, and will not use the next gen platform which won't roll out until around 2027.
The cheaper compact may also not be a down-market, less feature-rich version of 3 or Y, it may be that new manufacturing processes learned through CT simply makes it cheaper to build without giving up features.
For the analysts to stop hyper focusing on vehicle numbers and get onboard with RT, the one thing that needs to happen is for FSD to get to L4. No L4, no RT.
My family is about two yrs out to consider our first EV model Y hardware 5 timing. We don't need a another car till around then and we want to see how the refreshed Y turns out and the new hardware and FSD. We used to say 5 yrs out but it's getting closer. We r shareholders though since 2020 so waiting for our retirement money to get back up in the 400+ dollar range haha
What version of LFP are they going to make? Is it CATL's old technology, or the latest 2.0 technology? As far as affordable models, all they have to do is put LFP into a M3 SR, reduce the price by $2k, and then it's under $30k with credit.
Tesla is cooked. Its sales are lower (going to proven again in a few hours), the margins are lower as they are not cost competitive with Chinese brands. Why would someone buy a base model $25000 Tesla EV when they can buy a BYD hybrid for less than half of that. $11500. Better looking with better range and better practicality. Read not looking for a charging station, waiting at a station (to use it) then actually use it!!! Economic times are getting tougher by the day for many so they will buy the most affordable good value for money car. Where is all of the Billions going to come from to invest in Optimus, Robotaxis and robots and every other thing in Musk’s fantasy world when profits fall away with the car business. The share price is still full of ideology sentiment ATM. Hoping that robots will take over the world. Really hilarious stuff. As if..everyone’s going to have 3 or 4 robots running around the house doing tasks like folding washing. Rolling around the floor at that one. The Church of Musk magic is well and truly alive. The believers follow their Messiah. Too bad when he falls on his sword.. What most don’t seem to understand is Musk is a super salesman. A superb marketer of ideas. All of these developments are unproven, will take many years to realise ( if at all) and cost a $hit load of money to make them come to fruition.

Due the the loss of Combat Medics, my doctor saved me and so I have a record on my military record but given that I was slapped on my hand I continue to save the troops. So it was a win win. Imagine a dishonrable discharge. I don't use drugs anymore. Part of growing up. I am working at being a Wing Chun Sifu. I need to be alert so I am deciplined

Been stacking TSLA for 3 years, long term holder, plan on retiring in 5-6 years with a strong position in TSLA (20% of bag) 😊

Is it possible delay in the model Y is that they are switching to 48 V in the model why?
