I really really hope you went back to this old guy and gave him some more money .... Even stupid fake shows like Pawn Stars imply they wouldn't let sellers lowball themselves
Well done. A tag sale is where you get rid of items cheaply and without regret. What a lot of viewers don't realize is that the tag sale owners are unwilling or unable to post items online. So an offer to take everything for a set price is very attractive to them. You make go away forever and will never be back saying a tool did not work.
What??? Who would be smart enough to use all those hand and power tools in their trade yet willing to dump the entire lot for a mere 250??? 3 bucks for a fluke device??? C'mon! I smell a rat here !
I buy tools ALL the time…and these were either stolen, or never his. 3/4 Snapon Impact was worth $250. If this was real…you got some serious deals (and negative karma to shake off ya) haggling over $50. Come on…
The seller set the price, he claims he uses it all so he obviously knows what the tools are worth. Honestly I think he is a thief, this stuff has to be stolen to sell that low.
I ain’t going to watch this channel. Y’all couldn’t even give the old man $300.00 when he made you that offer. Y’all knew y’all were going to make a ton of money on all those amazing tools! Shame on you!
Right on I'm with you on this. These guys are either making fake videos for youtube or they are garbage. I laughed while one was on his phone like he was looking stuff up. If you have a pawn shop you wouldn't need to look up those tools.
I feel the same way as y'all. Over $2K worth of tools & they wouldn't even give his asking price. And walking away to get your truck while the man was talking to you is rude as hell. You can tell a scumbag by the way they park. Notice his truck was directly in front of the driveway blocking it completely? Scumbag 101 right there.
I agree 100% this is why pawn shops have a bad name. I have been buying and resealing for 20 years. And if I know a deal is good I will pay a fair price. And more often then not they will call back when more stuff pops up. This just made me feel bad. Taking advantage of people sucks .
The man clearly didn't care and wanted rid of the stuff...you should have given him his asking...but the thing that I thought was shameful was that you wanted to back in his yard! LOL...y'all lazy. I know there was clearly someone already pulling a vehicle in there, but that was just L-A-Z-Y.
no, it's not friend. its a piece of sh%$#@t that does this. its why i never go into a pawn shop... they rip everyone off and then charge more than retail and claim they are losing money.... hope one day laws catch up to them for what they do
Watching this video, the whole deal looks and smells very fishy. Kind of reminds me when I was serving in the military, and I had a brother that's a year older than me get into my tools I was keeping in my sister's house basement. The way my sisters found out about it was when they visited my older brother's home, they seen a pawn ticket on his dresser and read the information. They discovered he had pawned nearly all of my hand and power tools when he visited their home and was stealing the tools when they weren't looking. My sister paid the pawn shop nearly $600 to get some of my tools back, for the other tools it was too late! The tools that were sold in this video were either stolen or the man didn't know what he had or what value they were worth!!!
Yeah, you are probably right, it is fishy. These are rigger tools used in heavy industry applications, they have nothing to do in a suburban home or regular dude garage. Also, the fact that nothing seems to match would indicate to me that it was stolen bit by bit over a long period. My grandpa used to work in various factories and I found lots of excellent tools in his basement....my grandma told me they were given to him by his bosses....yeah... well... more likely stolen.
How many people do you think steal used tools, then have a garage sale at their own house with said tools that are easily recognizable? The guy probably retired and just doesn't care anymore.
Pretty amazing deal on those tools there. In my case I would keep THEM, and then just sell whatever crap I have in my own shop because those are the kind of tools your son will inherit, and most likely his son after him. Not like the "for occasional use only" chinesium-alloy crap they sell nowadays.
The guy wanted it gone. Yes that. Was a crazy low price but a lot of work goes into selling them. You should have stayed at300. But it’s all about the haggle lol
Without certification...lifting gear in my trade are worth nothing....my customer would never let me use them. If you can get them to pass inspection, maybe, but generally without traceability it's difficult.
If those really were his tools (which honestly they are either stolen or he told the wife he’d sell them for what he paid for them lol) he would’ve paid over 10,000 dollars for all of those tools
The impact nuts alone were easily worth $1,000. A SnapOn impact wrench can easily cost $250-300 when used. Poor grandpa got so ripped off... You should be ashamed, your karma will judge you, you will see. And then you'll regret it. You could have just paid a fair price and still gotten a good deal, but grandpa would have been very happy about it. The tools were given away.
I’ve never seen so many haters on one channel In my life. That’s business and sounds like your all mad cause you weren’t in the right place at the right time. Haters
Staged. I live in Lakeland, the older man is my uncle. He sold his tools to these guys for $2,700. He did mention a couple young bucks with camera asked him to act it out for the camera to have an entertaining video.
1st off this wasn't in Lakeland. 2nd off my dad is 57 years old so he's not exactly a "young buck" to your claims. 3rd of all I guess that means all my videos would be fake right or did I just sprinkle this one in there lol? I have a lot better things to do then make fake videos clout chasing like your comment is. The amount of hate this video has got looking back I should have just paid the guy his price. I totally forgot how everyone has gotten so soft now days & you just have to pay what someone says or everyone will cry and call your video a fake and call you a liar. Tune into the other channels where they pay whatever some wants just to get content (& be the nice guy) to make 100K or more a year from their YT videos.
@@PawnBrokerPickers it’s easy for People to call you greedy they aren’t doing all the leg work going to yard sales. sometimes you get a good win and you have to take them when you can ,the guy wasn’t crazy or anything he could have said no to your offer.
I would have sold them for scrap before I let anyone take advantage of me like that.
Imagine getting the deal of a lifetime for $300 then saying the wrenches were rusty so you wanted it for $250. took it from him
I really really hope you went back to this old guy and gave him some more money .... Even stupid fake shows like Pawn Stars imply they wouldn't let sellers lowball themselves

Either this was staged or these were never this guys tools
i swear it is a setup, or the man won the lottery and moving to Hawaii.
Tools probably burned their hands as they were touching them! 🤔
Snap on and 10 bucks dont ever belong in the same sentence lol
Sad day on UA-cam when you see an old guy getting ripped off for an extra 50 bucks when the other guy is set to make thousands in profits.
This is why most resellers are the bottom of the barrel.
YALL RIPPED THE OLD GUY OFF! SHOULD HAVE GAVE HIM THE 300 DOLLARS!!!
I got pissed multiple times, but they own a pawn shop, they're common scum out the gate, no souls the pricks.
I can understand buying something worth money at their asking price but intentionally low balling is wrong
U ripped him off. U should be ashamed!!
the guy told him the price, What should he have done said no I wont pay 300 ill give 600
you robbed them

You should be ashamed of yourself for screwing this guy. That impact you picked up first was worth $250.
Nah bro the snap on impact was worth minimum 350 used they got a killing from this haul
Straight insulted the man even going lower than 300

My god the damn MG725 was worth as much as the whole tool haul. Lucky you guys.
You didn't have to gloat how much money you are to make on the tools after knocking down the price which was a mega deal.
id buy that whole damn table too.. u guys stole from that man lol
Right!?
The snap on air gun was worth more than 250 dollars you got a hell of a deal
The weren't even slightly fair!
Dude . That is insane . Wow .
Vinegar and Super Blue .
Great video . Thanks .
"lot of it going to be hard to sell ........rust and stuff" how do these sharks have a youtube channel?
Geez talk about a highway robbery
Grinding that guy for $50.... 🤦♂️ smh
Agreed, shaeful.
That was a great deal for all those tools! 👍😎

I love all the tools that you have man that you bought are from deal you got
First time I seen you and dad walking out of store instead of in.lol
Awesome deal on the tools and nice quick flip on the bike.
Playing dumb on everything, you piss me off ,what else can I steal from you. Why you keep rubbing your hands. Money

Absolutely,heaven of hand tools wow.!

Cute little truck

Anyone else notice that giant ass Jeep mailbox in the background?? Thing is fn huuuuge! Bahahaaa

Watta score!!!
