Juju spitting truth about our love for Tia. They both bring the same positive, soothing energy. It's sort of what Lemon said in her interview: you can get $$ and buy outfits but you can't buy smart and you can't buy funny. Love them both.
Tia has a personality that is so addictively genuine and relatable. She could look like an apricot pit and she would still be infinitely more entertaining than like 90% of her contemporaries.

Also, FOR ME, the part when Pangina was crying and sobbing on her elimination was very good for her, it made me cry too, it made me feel something for her. Sooo moving. What Juju said about Tia, it’s the reason why she is one of the few drag queens I have met that I got on well with straight away. She’s kind, she’s beautiful, she’s so funny, a talented writer and brilliant singer.

Watching this latest installment of Rupaul's drag race and how the fans have been treating Jujubee and dragging her for her outfits from the start really demonstrates how desensitized and privileged the fandom has become. In the past regular seasons we've seen many queens on a budget who all walked into the race knowing how hard it was to get there and fund their looks, and they all walked in so confidently and gave their best. Of course, you can have an opinion on an outfit, outfits can be ugly, sometimes even the most expensive garments can be a miss. But to bully someone and send them racist comments based on what they wear on a reality show ? And then have the audacity to follow or preface that with,, I love Jujubee/any other queen name"? The level of disrespect. Also most of the fans who say such things have no idea what it takes to even be considered to compete, let alone gather looks and funds to get there and last. Y'all are so spoiled in your homes, sitting and watching drag queens season after season thinking you know anything about drag just because you watch one (1) franchise of drag performance. You'd think that after seeing Veronica Green of UK2 and 3 came out in her interviews saying she had no money after the pandemic and her mental health wasn't good they'd have the same amount of understanding or at least the decency to give Jujubee the benefit of the doubt for her runways, but everyone dragged her week to week, not caring at all about her reasons or her humanity, you dragged a real person over her damn clothes and called her worthless, undeserving, tired. I don't care who wins because it's a shit season that gives virtually nothing back to the queens' efforts, I just hope Jujubee walks out of this without her mental health being further damaged and knowing there are still fans who are proud of her and what she represents on that stage, not just as a Laotian contestant, poc, queer, cat mom fabulousness but as a person and storyteller.

Everyone can't be amazing at everything, and I appreciate that queens who are so good at comedy, music, and so many things can ALSO manage to make a dress at all, because I can guarantee I wouldn't be able to in that amount of time, and I consider myself a crafty person. Also, I just love seeing Juju existing on TV, she's a light of a human being, and I think she needs to host something herself. Jimbo is being, in my opinion, really embarrassingly petty, which she should know will result in racist backlash for Juju (can we please freaking listen for once?). Jujubee was the first queen ever I fell in love with since season 2. She's been my favorite of all time and after many seasons. I never get tired of her in tv. She truly is amazing and none of the queens deserve hate from us fans 💓

Idk how someone can send hate to someone that wasn't chosen to go home. Like I was disappointed that Baga and Juju went as far as they did given their performances (Baga was very one note but those forced Ru laughs are infectious. Literally Ru's super power). And would have loved to seen more of Lemon and Cheryl. But none of them should have gone home and it should have been a point system.

It’s really quite poetic that Jujubee won the last competitive episode she’ll probably ever be in. What a wonderful conclusion to her 4 season long journey.
I am such a fan of Jujubee. This inteview made me fall in love with her even more. Shes so gracious and well spoken and thoughtful and she gave some great advice and words to live by. Thank you Tia for interviewing her. I hope you two collaborate in the future. Also Juju's teeth look so amazing. what a smile.
There is no room in the LGBTQ community for racists. We have enough hat from other people outside of our community. We should stick together no matter what race or couloir. It is total madness for queer people to be prejudice to each other. It blows my mind. No place hate in the queer world!!
my husband is uk and i'm us, and sometimes we'll joke around about how "bad the food in the uk is"... but then it ends up leading into us talking about "well at least it's real food in the uk" and then i always end up bringing up food i prefer in the uk vs the us 😂 (typically fruits, cheese and meat i buy in to cook). so i'm glad as much as it's joked about, jujubee mentioned the same thing essentially

My (ex) best friend, who only dates Black girls (and guys and the down low), called me the "n-word" when he got upset that I called him out on some of his hypocrisies. I've been called that word by Whites more often than Blacks. And by "more often", I mean, Blacks have NEVER called me that word.

Everytime it feels like we make progress, we get reminded that we don't. Juju is a star and she seems like such a down-to-earth, genuine person. That in itself is racist and is exactly what we have all been fighting against our entire lives-continuing stereotypes based on race, sexuality, gender, nationality, ability or any other characteristic people try to define us by. In fact it invalidates your point when you speak out against negativity yet use the same thing you’re trying to stop. We don’t fight fire with fire, we use water. I’m sure its coming from a place of love & wanting to defend the queens who’ve experienced part of the fandom that can be toxic, but don’t lower yourself to that level. sorry but even when people criticised Juju's runways, I liked it, coz she's full package, not just a dress... and the look with snake and blue wig was great and I prefered it for sure over the look of Jimbo and other queens, also her cat look is a wink to her fans as it's the dress she wore on the cover pic of her single "together alone". I hoped so much she would get the crown, well am so glad she was back on another competition. Time to buy her new album " back for more".
One would think that by the very nature of what drag is that no one who enjoys it could possibly be racist or biased in any way. One would think that. Broke my heart when it finally dawned on me that BELOVED QUEENS were getting racially attacked by fans of the show. Shame on them. Shame, shame, shame!
I'm still rooting for Jujubee for the win. Maybe she'll kill the lipsync smackdown? I hope at least she's able to garner some redemption in the final episode tonight. This is also proof right here that production really needs to provide some kind of costume budget for the queens. It's absurd what they need to source and fund on their own in such a short time, for the expectations they bring on the queens.
Did Jujubee have the strongest runways this season? No. Is she a sickening queen and icon regardless? Hell yes. I'm glad Juju is calling out Jimbo bc Jimbo is out here hurt about being sent home and then making careless comments that turn into fans being toxic towards Juju and Pangina. Of course Jimbo is not the reason why people are racist, but to actively add fuel to the fire bc he can't accept his elimination? To egg on people that mentally harm queens of color? That's fucked! Jimbo isn't properly recognizing the power of his platform. Compare that to how Pangina and Blu are close friends after her elimination--it's just not the same.
Jujubee was the first queen ever I fell in love with since season 2. She's been my favorite of all time and after many seasons. I never get tired of her in tv. She truly is amazing and none of the queens deserve hate from us fans 💓

Like I was disappointed that Baga and Juju went as far as they did given their performances (Baga was very one note but those forced Ru laughs are infectious. Literally Ru's super power). And would have loved to seen more of Lemon and Cheryl. But none of them should have gone home and it should have been a point system.

my husband is uk and i'm us, and sometimes we'll joke around about how "bad the food in the uk is"... but then it ends up leading into us talking about "well at least it's real food in the uk" and then i always end up bringing up food i prefer in the uk vs the us 😂 (typically fruits, cheese and meat i buy in to cook). so i'm glad as much as it's joked about, jujubee mentioned the same thing essentially

sorry but even when people criticised Juju's runways, I liked it, coz she's full package, not just a dress... and the look with snake and blue wig was great and I prefered it for sure over the look of Jimbo and other queens, also her cat look is a wink to her fans as it's the dress she wore on the cover pic of her single "together alone". I hoped so much she would get the crown, well am so glad she was back on another competition. Time to buy her new album " back for more".

This is also proof right here that production really needs to provide some kind of costume budget for the queens. It's absurd what they need to source and fund on their own in such a short time, for the expectations they bring on the queens.

Did Jujubee have the strongest runways this season? No. Is she a sickening queen and icon regardless? Hell yes. I love Jimbo and I was disappointed when he was eliminated, but that’s not a reflection on Juju and she didn’t deserve any of the backlash. I don’t know how some of y’all can support queens in one moment and send them racist comments the next, it’s really not cute.
