I say this with respect and hoping to help. Lossing weight will not make you happy. I was 285 pounds. I lost 150 pounds and expected life to be amazing. I was on billboards in my state I was on the news because of the program i was on, and It wasn't amazing. I got an eating disorder. I went down to 115 pounds and was miserable. I was so unhealthy mentally. I lost 4 years of my life and my kids life dealing with the obsession of being small. i eventually gained a healthy amount of weight back and was good for 4 years at 140. Then covid happened. locked in, worried, scared , I gained 40 pounds back. ill be doing the only plan that ever worked for me in January called ideal protein. My point is, happiness is not decided by your size. health is, YES. but not happiness. happiness is a choice we make every day. Doing new and exciting things can help you find happiness. I'm 190 pounds and so so much happier than I was at 115 . Mentally healthier. but for my overall health I need to lose those 40 pounds. Live every day the way you want to be. Find the things that make you happy and do them . Then no day is wasted.

I totally relate to everything you said today. I believe most women hit this point in their lives. Going through vision changes, hormone depletion, menopause, aging, life and marriage changes, raising kids, grandkids...we are trying to find out who we are or what and where we are. We have dreams that need to be fulfilled. We need to be refreshed and ways to do that is getting away for a few days by yourself taking in the quiet. Go to a matinee by yourself. Find an out of the way booth and eat lunch while you read. I loved you opening up with us about how you are feeling. It's an ongoing thing with us women. A group would be great where we can encourage each other through these times in our lives. Let's make those dreams come true!

I've been looking back at all I have done in my life and I can tell you that I worked, raised my three children. There was never me time. I'm thinking now how in the hell did I do all of that. I'm 64 now and don't have a clue of what to do, cause I never did anything for myself. Yes my niece and daughter told me I need to get out of your comfort zone. I have went out to eat by myself for years now. I used to do the movies too. It used to make me super uncomfortable but I would just take a book along to read while I ate. Now if we can afford it, it is just some me down time. Granted it is just me and my husband (and until recently our 2 dogs) (we do have another one now) but I need that alone time. I haven't worked in quite a few years and it is just one income, so....... You all know that means watching the pennies 😊. I think you should try the movies or restaurant alone. It can be peaceful. I have been to 2 movies since 2019. I haven't technically watched tv since then.

I feel ya. I’m 10 years older than you. I’ve spent the past 40 years hiding behind my fat. Using it as an excuse to not do anything, go anyplace. Now, it has legit taken a toll so it’s actually very difficult to do anything or go anyplace. Now, we realize how fast time flies by and it scares us.
My advice to younger me would be-take care of your body. It is an amazing thing that we should appreciate. Also, what anybody else thinks does not matter. In the least. Do what makes you content and at peace.

I've taken about five different 3 day trips to Las Vegas by myself. I got tired of waiting for someone to be able to go with me. Thst was 100% out of my comfort zone! Honestly, I had the best time. Airports, shuttles, busses, hotels, restaurants and shows all alone and loved it! BTW, I'm 67 yrs old and have extreme anxiety. There were ALOT of moments when I wasn't sure I'd follow through, but I did it. This was pre-covid. Since then, anxiety has overtaken me and I've become low key agoraphobic. I rarely go anywhere. I'd love to change that. Getting older, kids growing up and moving away is the hardest thing to overcome.

Hi Sherri❤️🙏😘. I know how you’re feeling cause I think I’ve told you that I am also 55 and since I hit my 50’s I was in total denial about the fact that I was definitely gaining weight and this year I finally came to the realization that I was gaining weight even though I wasn’t eating a whole lot of food and that it is hormonal. Since I am in a wheelchair from a disability since birth, I’m paralyzed and can’t walk so it’s not too easy to do any kind of exercise and also have been on Dialysis for 15 yrs and it has worn me out to the point where I just feel so tired all the time. My attitude is great cause I’ve never had a problem with that and I have lost some weight which is awesome and I know it but have to keep an eye on it cause it will creep up on me I’d I don’t. Hang in there cause we all have down days. Hugs love and blessings my friend. Yu csn do this Sherri. Sue M. Florida ❤️🙏🥰😘👍🏻😊❌⭕️

Every change starts with something small it's just staying consistent. If you want to hike or climb a mountain you start small. I think we all can live our best life but we each have different examples of what that is. I think you also need to look at your positives and be proud of those. Build on them. I am about to be 51 and lemme tell you I was hormone trapped in a morbidly obese body my entire life. My doctor put me on Mounjaro (now called ZepBound) and I have lost 62 pounds since June 1st. It's a true blessing, this drug.
Besides that I have learned to hate the word SNACK. Americans eat entirely too much and then wanna snack too. It's insanity. We gotta stop with the snacking, stop eating the chemicals in the pretty colored bags, boxes and bottles. It has to be a whole new mindset. If the ingredients don't grow in nature, don't put it in your body. That's really what it comes down to. All these chemicals have women's hormones completely confused and that is why 80% of us are overweight.

Hey, sherri. Your not alone. I just turned 40 and I'm Not Happy with where I'm At in my life. Id say go do that bridge. Before it's to late. There's so many things I can't do now since my recent health issues.. Dealing with chronic back and leg pain. Working 2 jobs for the past 10 years, I have regrets. And missed out on alot of things. It's sad, I finally got our of my comfort zone of the fear of water and was kayaking like there was no tomorrow, it was my favorite thing to do to get away from it all... Now. I can no longer do that. I had to learn to get out of my comfort zone of eating out alone or starve... Lol. Or eat fast food which I'm. Not a big fan of. So Go do those things and enjoy yourself... Life is to to short. And you never know what it's going to throw at you. I actually like hearing other people's rants. Reminds. Me that I'm. Not alone. Love u ms. Sherri.

I love New River Gorge!! I just turned 60 in October. I was a travel nurse and loved it. I learned to do things by myself while traveling and grew to love that to but you just start by taking baby steps. It takes some getting used to. We all want to be what we aren't but it doesn't mean we can't be, it just takes effort. I'm talking to myself as much as everybody else. This last year has been hard, I'm in heart failure, and the Dr's made me quit working. So I have become idle and depressed, which isn't good either. I'm not telling you this for sympathy, I'm just saying, "Go make the best of it." Walk across New River Gorge, and take the steps to do things out of your comfort zone because when you can't, you will have regrets.

Well in January 2023 I turned 55 and stumbled upon a youtuber Lulus way she was just starting her channel about senior woman and van camping/traveling. I always wanted to travel across country in a camper. I was hooked !!!! I started this past year making it happen I bought an old minivan ( I didn't have a car ) and began transfomrning it into a camper van. Now I have gone on 3 mini camping trips close to home to "practice" It has made me feel so alive again, so now I am doing interior decrating in my van getting ready for my next trip. Now when we did it, you did walk all the way across, and a van was waiting for you on the other side. You are tethered in and hooked to the bridge. Even if you would slip, you CANNOT fall off the bridge. To fall off that bridge you would have to put yourself out there. You are totally SAFE!! The views are breath taking. I say do it!!! And who better to make this memory with!!!! It definitely is worth it!!! I came all the way from Woodville Oh to do this, drug my cousin down there w me, and made her walk it w me. I feel ya. Something’s are hard to change without money, new house, travel….but it is about the priorities you set and maybe you can only set one at a time. I do always use my tax money to take a vacation every year, that is a priority for me. I don’t want to spend my life working and nothing else. We can’t go to Europe or anything but we do go to the beach for a week every year with the family, we all contribute so it’s not too expensive. Having something to look forward to helps. Much love! 💕

Go for it Sherri, I started going to dinner and the movies by myself as a teenager. I wasn’t going to wait till some boy asked me!! Going to the movies alone, I got tired of other people complaining about whatever we went to see! If I liked it fine, if not it’s still fine lol I’ve bought flowers for myself single and married. Why wait until someone takes there sweet old time to decide if they want to go or not! They can have you waiting forever, and still don’t go! I’ve been sickly all my life and it’s really hard now that I’m older, so make a plan and just do it! You’re always taking care of everyone, and nothing is wrong with that, but time waits for no one! Lord willing I’ll be 70! I look at old pictures or in the mirror and be like WTH happened to you!! So take a deep breath and go for it! Jax’s is growing up, and you still have to do for her, but everybody else is grown, so you’ve put in the work, you became a mom young, so a lot of going back to your childhood and the memories are logical. Your time now baby!! Do a little at a time, while you’re getting your health in order. You deserve it, I’m game on starting a club, we’re women of different ages so everyone has something to bring to the table. Started my thanksgiving prep! Washing greens, got the meat to add in on. I was blessed with a free turkey, I was cooking lamb. I usually like Peking Duck, cuz I eat turkey all the time, but I’ll prep that next, the other side’s tomorrows, I’m not worried about dessert don’t need it anyway lol You have so much to do, pilates is a good exercise, and you can do it at home while cooking or throwing a load in the washer. Love this video it’s fine to just talk. In Philly we’ve got a lot of rain going on, into tomorrow. Streets around me are being blocked off for the rehearsal The Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade , I live real close to the Philadelphia Arts Museum. My daughter was in that parade and our Mummers Parade for years with her Drill Team, that received State and National Championship for a lot of years. They performed for the First Martin Luther King Birthday Celebration the first Black people to perform in the Mummers, and also performed for President Clinton’s Birthday! Gone are the days of making Pom poms buying stocking polishing boots and freezing out there with those kids. Good memories.

I love this vlog so much!! And you know what I think, you need to give yourself some grace!! You are amazing!! There is nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself and your surroundings, that girl is a sign of growth and self reflection!!! Think about it this way, you are living someone's else's dream, being an influencer and having a successful following, so many people want that so badly and you accomplished it!!! Keep pushing and being yourself, also something I did that was SO much fun was rappeling at one of our local waterfalls, so worth it!! ❤❤

Let’s have a “ Come to Jesus TALK”!!!
Get a routine going, like walking in the mornings early (5:00am) . I’m 66 years old and my husband is 70, we walk every morning regardless on the weather. Nothing like walking in the rain or being covered up because it’s 34 degrees and the wind is blowing. You need to feel how BLESSED you are, look at all the blessings you have around you. You stay very busy in life and I’m sure there’s fans out there wishing they had the energy you have. I have watched you for about a year now and think about how blessed you are with the family, GREAT HUSBAND, and a blue Jeep. I think you are having TEMU WITHDRAWS!!!!!!
    Cheer up!!!!

Every chance that you get, hit it. I, also, am eating no sugar, grains, dairy, or processed food. No sugar every once in awhile. That will just keep your body craving sugar. It is all or none. To get out of my comfort zone I’ve been to the movies by myself, I went to a Simon and Garfunkel concert by myself, and at a local airport/air show I took a ride in a 3 person helicopter that didn’t have any doors on it. I walk around my yard , just to be safe. I’d like to join that club you’re starting. When I was younger I definitely didn’t see myself where I’m at today and I’m older than you. But sometimes life throws you a curve ball ( or a dozen) and you just have to deal with whatever it is and keep going. I’m trying to change a few things but it’s not going to happen overnight. Just do the best that you can and don’t be hard on yourself. Sometimes you just need a break from things. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Hi Sherri, and FeFe, I absolutely love listening to you talk. You had me laughing, and made my day, so much happier. I’m older than you are, so I certainly understand, yesterday I ate an entire bag of those plain kettle chips. It had 7 servings! I love pain potato chips, that’s the ones I grew up on. I don’t know if you are old enough to remember when two big bags came in one big bag! I’ve always been a chip fanatic, I just cannot eat 15, which is a serving and just stop, unless I’m on a diet counting my calories! That’s why I like to buy those big bags that comes with like 18 portions in it. Then I can eat just one bag. My problem is, I’ll go so long without eating, then I’m starving, and over eat those chips. Thank God they didn’t have the plain ruffles ones, I love those too, but really DT has cut their chip bags way down at my stores.
Y’all got some nice things at good will, I always watch your videos, I just seldom comment, and I know the comments makes you more money, so I really need to start commenting on all of your videos, so you can make your dreams come true! Sorry, I haven’t been doing that.
I love every single thing, you do, to me you are such an inspiration, I don’t get up every day and put on an entire face of makeup like you do, which is always perfection, you have really taught me an awful lot about doing gorgeous eye makeup! You really could be a professional, in my opinion, you have gorgeous porcelain skin, no dark circles under your eyes, and you do not look 55 that’s for sure.
I’m ready to join that girl club you were talking about, I think Sherrie, we always have that little girl still in us, no matter our age. There is nothing wrong with that. I do not send out Christmas cards anymore, unless I receive some, then I’ll send to them. Usually my nieces sends me Christmas cards. They have lost their mothers, younger than, I was now, so I try to step In and see about them, and make sure my nieces, and nephews are doing good. One of my nieces told me since my sister passed away 3 years ago, I’m the only one that checks on her, but I know my sisters would do that for my kids, if I had passed away before them. I have lost my 2 sisters I grew up with, I was the baby girl, I lost one brother to Covid 2 years ago. He was younger than I am.
I love you, And your family, and I really do not know how you get so much done in a day. You are an exceptional, wife, mother, nana, abc daughter in law. Your family is truly blessed to have you, Beautiful lady. FeFe is so beautiful also, we had our Birthday on November 15th, tell my Birthday beauty, I said Happy Belated Birthday. I love that we share the same Birthday.
Sending Love, and Hugs to you, and your fantastic family. Tell Jac, I said Hi, she’s growing up so fast to, and Ricky is a Sherrie made over only in a boy version.
    ❤❤❤❤❤❤️
    ❤❤❤❤❤❤️
I think that’s a heart for your entire family, 🤡 there is Craven, his clown face too, I know he will love that. Sherrie, he’s got you so spoiled, and he watches out for you, you two are so blessed to have each other.

I feel ya. I hate my life. I've tried for 23 years to become a mother. Thousands of dollars and extreme emotional pain. I'll be 40 in a couple of weeks and I'm never gonna get my babies. I'm completely miserable. Completely unsatisfied with life. I've spent the majority of my life trying for something that isn't going to happen. Idk what to do now. I'm literally just waiting to die at this point.

Help a good cause if you can volunteer. Make your life different make it in a way to attract the good things you want. Your strong and you can find a different path.
