It wasn’t only the depth. Dude was immature as hell. He didn’t listen to Hartline’s coaching about expanding his route tree and he would miss practice all the time. There’s a reason Julian Fleming played more than him and it wasn’t talent
@@legoatjames2740 JSN passed him on the depth chart and he isn't even fast. But I wouldn't say Fleming didn't have talent. He got injured a lot so we never got to see his full potential. But he was also a burner and had good hands in HS.
@@dope_humor Fleming was definitely talented in high school but his coaches ruined his shoulder by the time he got to OSU. In my mind Jamo was the most talented out of that whole bunch because he became a first round pick basically running slants and go routes. If he actually took his time at OSU seriously he probably would’ve been the best receiver OSU has ever had.
That’s why he transferred to Alabama! Fast dude, caught that last touchdown against Clemson a few years ago in the playoffs! Justin Fields, and company, absolutely destroyed Clemson that year, and really would have won against Clemson the year before in the playoffs, but the ACC southern officials did everything they could to keep Ohio State from winning, and they still almost won! I think the officials were paid off, and it’s not sour grapes on my part! 🌰🏈
It took me a long time to forgive Maurice Clarett. I was being selfish and was mad that he made mistakes in his life that took him out of football. I really wanted to see what else he could on the field in years to come. I am glad that he has become a great person and is someone people can learn from and look up to. That year was an epic season to be able to watch.
Jeremiah Smith is the best 18-year-old athlete since LeBron James. If you watch this kid play his size speed, everything is on a different level, and he's just 18!
Ohio State has been producing NFL wr's for 50 plus years. Holme's ring a bell? Jenkins, Hartline, Gonzo, Robiskie, Gamble, ect. Bama was never Wr U and will never be when compared to Ohio State.
Michigan picked up Elmer Theodore Eugene out of University of Phoenix (online) they gave him $28 up front for NIL and he signed an endorsement with the restaurant that gave him a free cheeseburger on his recruiting trip
To say someone is overrated they would have to be hyped as high as hes been and then not produce. He is on pace to shatter every record for freshman WR's and is even talked about in the heisman. He's outshining everyone on this roster which is historically one of the greatest on paper with other 5 star WR's around him and the best Backfield in the country. He's not overrated even the slightest if you have eyes and know what talent looks like regardless of the competition he's faced. Does him making a one armed catch on an underthrown ball make him overrated because it was against Akron? no. Dumb comment
@@MrSiah007 you gotta realize he is a star receiver on a top 5 college team. Any of the star receivers on any top 5 teams could get off easily against the teams we’ve played. Ha! Also pretty easy to do it if you can pay Saban to be your coach. NIL has little to do with it. When Brian Hartline became receivers coach at tOSU is what was more of a factor.
Omg. That's not getting old to you? NIL is for everyone. Don't hate cuz you ain't. You know most everyone on the Buckeyes were already on the team and just stayed. Get a grip.
It's more than money. It's the coaches and the brand. That brand has been big for a hundred years. If it was all money, Ta&m would be the best team in the country. Besides, other big schools have just as much money.
Jameson Williams could not get on the field because of the depth at osu
They were getting him in, but he wanted to be featured.

Ngl he not fucking with Williams on bama & he’s younger 🥹😅.
He is about to destroy that freshman record.
