Thank you sooo much for the translation. It sounds funny even without knowing it. He sounds like Henny Youngmen, or Shelly Berman. Is this at a wedding?

It's at a sheva berachot, a party for the bride and groom in the week following the wedding.

Used to be worn by some rebbes in Europe. My second great grandfather was a Rav and a Rebbe in Europe, he had a white shtreimel that he wore on Shabbat. It was shaped more like a Spodik and probably made of Arctic Fox fur. The white shtreimel was worn with a white silk frock coat. He would not wear black clothes on the Shabbat. Back in the day, many Rebbes in Europe used to wear white clothing on Shabbat. Black clothing is a sign of mourning.

@@akivatalansky have a feeling the white shtreimlich from then were naturally faded white, like certain fox tails at the tip. Not this fake dyed white color of today.

If you search for videos or pictures of Rabbi Meir Yehuda Getz, you will see that he had a white shtreimel / spodik. He was the rabbi of the Western Wall. Passed away in 1995.
