Thanks for checking out more Dreamcatcher. DCs videos are always pretty difficult to breakdown, especially with just one watch. So you're definitely not alone in feeling that way. I've seen most of their mvs 50+ times and I still find symbolism and meaning in things occasionally.
"Fly High" is probably the poppiest of the Nightmare arc. It was not done by their usual production team as well. But it makes sense, since this is a prequel, so bringing in a bit of the Minx sound makes sense to me (5 of the 7 members were Minx before, a standard cute concept that failed). There are really heavy parts in it as well, which clearly state that they are not Minx anymore. And I love the dark parts thrown in, they really make the song special. The light part sung by SuA after the metal break is in major, while the rest of the song is in minor. That is why it stands out so much. They did the same in Good Night, but a lot shorter. About the MV: They were in France to film the MV. You can see Yoohyeon burning the spider, which brought the curse of the spider queen down on the members. You will see the spider queen again in You and I. In Native American mythology, spiders are considered protectors, that is why a Dreamcatcher resembles a spider's net. That is a brilliant connection to their name! 😊 Here's a creepy thing: Look at the window a floor below Handong, who is throwing the paper plane: 4:58
I will trying to help your questions... No.1 and no.3: The location is known as Chateau de Janvry, an estate in the small village of Janvry, Essonne, France. In scene, that place setting must be as old mansion which mean to be a boarding school. No.2: Yes, she is Lee Siyeon, my Ult Bias😊 No.4: Yes, that's cursed spider spirit. No.5 & no.6: Sorry, I don't know any about that. No.7: The final scene The video focuses on JIU as the final unpossessed member. Unknown to her, the curse has already created an evil persona (shown when JIU walks in on herself playing the piano). This causes her to run. As she is running out of the mansion, she constantly checks behind herself, as if she is scared. HOWEVER, I personally think that the evil version is running away from the good version. (Note the navy outfit she was wearing. It is the same as the navy outfit in the choreography shots, which is paired with gloomy skies. And gloomy skies occur because the brightness has disappeared - i.e. darkness arrived). Once evil JIU gets to the gate, she closes it (instead of running out), effectively sealing her and everyone else within the old mansion. I think if JIU, if she was 100% evil or 100% good, she would have kept the gate opened and ran out. Instead, there might be some good in JIU, leading to her thinking that closing the gate will be better for the rest of the world (and her friends). We see a shot of her standing on a white cliff, with blue butterflies flying about. They end up burning but the white setting remained, representing that some good is still within her.
you actually caught a lot of things that happened quicker than most!! but yes, here's the story so far: the girls were on vacation in a mansion in france, having fun like normal girls. then jiu trapped a spider in a jar and yoohyeon burned it with a magnifying glass, so they were cursed by the spider queen (you only see her breefly here scaring Gahyeon at 4:47 and here 6:23). This curse causes the girls to experience the nightmares in Chase Me and Good Night, so when the Nightmare Hunter finds them (the guy in those videos) they take the opportunity to haunt him and trick him into the Dreamworld, freeing themselves. The book in Good Night is what caused the specific nightmares, that's why when they burnt the pages down, they could escape. The story continues in YOU AND I, What, PIRI (End) and Breaking Out (Alternative ending).
