Wake up call occurred when Russia invaded Crimea. When that call happened Obama just turned off the alarm, removed the batteries, unplugged the alarm from the socket and went right back to sleep.

what are you going to do when your opponent has nuclear weapons and has been telling the world it's willing to use them since the 60's? That NATO is helping now and russia hasn't used a nuke is the wake up call, it was all saber rattling all along and yeah we may now know that but hindsight is 50/50.

The same is going on with Armenia. Armenians had their Velvet revolution in 2018, signaling a move away from Russia towards Europe and democratic rule. The US and Europe not only didn't help, they poured money into the despotic regime of Azerbaijan under Trump to supposedly strengthen it against Iran and Russia. Instead, Azerbaijan double crosseed the West by snuffing out democratic self-rule in Nagorno Karabakh and attacking Armenia, after which it signed a bilateral security treaty with Russia the week before Russia invaded Ukraine! Now, Azerbaijan is happily selling Russian oil as Azeri oil, helping the Russians bypass sanctions. Armenia was where Russia practiced before it invaded Ukraine. Armenia has yet to get any help from the West.

Your mindset is so imperialist. You represent a mindset propagated by Hollywood.
The truth is: the more you interfere regionally, the more wars and bigger wars there are, thus more deaths. Improve your own defense, don’t interfere with others. Listen when a country raised their own concerns to you and never ever ignore it, esp if that nation is a Nuclear power that has more nukes than you and your Allies.
When US interfered with Ukraine’s politics and provided weapons to Ukraine pre-war, this had escalated the situation. And, this is In addition to dishonoring both verbal and written agreements by the west and Ukraine, as advised by US. Furthermore, when US influential military subcontractors Think Tank publish study on “how to weaken Russia” by disintegrating them into smaller nations so US-NATO can easily control them, ofc, it will make Russia worry.
Russia has been feeling insecure, and as a proof, they have been asking for Security Guarantee for themselves. But US has been too boastful and ignored it, at the expense of a smaller nation Ukraine and Ukrainians’ lives.
What do you wish Obama want to do? fight Russia? Regardless of who wins in a direct fight between US and Russia, some of US cities will be incinerated, esp since, accdg to US military reports, Russia has a better modern hypersonic missiles than US, that cannot be shoot down by US defense equipment.
      My questions:
In the last years that US have been the only superpower, how many wars did it started regionally? 😂
Is US truly Democratic country? Why do you keep demonizing Russia, when they conduct elections too? Do all nations have to adapt an American style democracy and everyone else which do not are evil?
“The analysis of 1,779 recent policy outcomes found that “economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy,” while average citizens “have little or no independent influence. In other words, the U.S. is an oligarchy: a system of government where a small number of elites rule. Everyone else? Not so much.”(Represent Us, 2023)

I'm quite confident that some states surely will implement measures like pre-university coaching for disadvantaged families or communities, some universities might alter admission procedures (while excluding race as a factor) appropriately, new courses at these universities (for instance vocational / polytechnic type stuff) and so on. The increase of apprenticeships and increasing the value prior work experience for entrance into certain courses. There's a bunch of stuff that can be done.

Both are historical mistakes that can not be forgiven for someone like Obama.

As long as American politicians keep hiding the hegemony the US has around the world, and American citizens keep ignoring stories that provide evidence of the abuse of power we have over other countries to take their resources and control their governments, things wont improve and the weight of all the lies, betrayals and manipulation we've practiced around the world will one day crush us.

Russians lived there in the 14th century! This is a historical Russian land.

Also they would dismantle Nato. Democracy will end in America if the gop get back into Power under trump

Why is it sooooo difficult to get a full time job in Big Box retailers? THANK OBAMA!
"The federal law most relevant to the distinction between part- and full-time employment is the Affordable Care Act, which requires that large employers share the financial responsibility of health insurance for full-time employees. The law defines full-time work as at least 30 hours per week or 130 hours per month. Companies that meet the threshold for size must either offer an affordable health insurance plan to these full-time employees or pay a penalty for not offering coverage. No company, regardless of size, is required by the federal government to subsidize health insurance for part-time employees who work fewer than 30 hours per week or 130 hours per month."

0:05 Pres. Obama doesn't address Joe Biden's age.
0:26 Pres. Obama does not address Biden's shockingly low approval among minorities. Instead, he says there will be no serious primary challenge to Joe Biden.
1:02 There actually is a huge split between actual leftists (not liberals) and the Democratic Party.
3:34 "Recent memory' must not include the dismantling of Yugoslavia.
3:50 "The old ways of thinking: might makes right, big countries can do what they want to small countries, that people cannot independently determine their futures." Doesn't this statement apply overwhelmingly more to the United than to any ten other countries?
4:10 [watching the Ukrainians fighting the Russians] reminded Europe of who they were." Ex nazi collaborators that hate Russia.
4:39 "...willy-nilly, determine the borders of other countries." Like Kosovo, perhaps (not a country).
5:43 Thank you, Barack, Crimea was indeed populated by Russians.
6:40 Pres. Obama explains the timeline of political change and militarization with Ukraine from 2014 coup d'etat to the Russian invasion. He leaves out who was pushing these changes (the US, point person Victoria Nuland) and who the key actors representing US interests in Ukrainian society were (Azov, Svoboda, Right Sector, and other "far-right nationalist" -- I'm being polite -- organizations that had been American covert assets within Ukraine since the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945.
Got to say, President Obama seems less and less like the man I voted for twice with each passing year.
On the other hand, if a president cannot change the social/political order - as he often admitted he could not do without popular mass movements demanding change - he did a fine job of defending US interests abroad (global domination through military aggression, subversion, subornation, de-stabilization. economic warfare, overthrow, debt peonage, and terrorism) and at home (rewarding Wall Street criminals for their economic crimes and their near destruction of the world economy, helping the 1% to double their share of GDP yet again, allowing American businesses and private assets to be gobbled up by fewer and fewer monopolistic corporations).

Good thing most Americans dont listen to the British on what makes a good President. We wouldnt be in this situation in Ukraine if Obama took a harsher stance against Russia in 2014. Biden is worse at giving speeches, but atleast his policies against Russia are effective. Who cares about a Presidents popularity, the effectiveness of his policy is what matters. Many of Obamas' polcies, especially in regards to foreign policy, were fundamentally ineffective.
