    WOW!! Thanks for the detailed demonstration!!! It's just a little trickier than I realized (that twisting separately and away from your face business)!... Yep mine always loosened up, drove me crazy! The french braid is amazing!! YOU are so talented and a great teacher! Thanks for sharing 💖!!

    I wanted to say thank you so much for making your channel! I have a lot of hair and I love getting ideas from you!
    I saw your videos on Dutch braiding and I taught myself how to do it with my mom's help, and now I can Dutch braid and it gives my hair the exact kind of curl that I want!
    You're awesome!

    When doing a rope braid, I imagine a clock on the floor, then I turn both strands clockwise, then always twist the two counter-clockwise. This helps me avoid confusion when either switching hands or looking back-and-forth between the mirror in front of me and the one behind me.
    Like combining a rope braid with a french braid pattern. Gotta try that one.

    Hi - LOVED your video! You have beautiful hair and give great instructions. One thing, though .... when you are doing your French Braid on the back of your head, you are twisting your hair "towards your face", not "away from your face".

    I'm definitely going to try the first one and the bun. Thank you for such clear instructions!

    On the french braid you are saying away from your face but it looks like you are going toward your face when adding hair. Are you I'm trying to learn to do this braid. And btw I love your channel you have taught me Soo much already in the short time since I have found your videos. Thank you so much for being so clear on your instructions for us beginners😊

    I love them all but if I had to choose I would have to go with the half up style. Loving all your videos. A slightly belated Happy New Year to you and your family.

    Hey! Could you do a tutorial where you use a scarf as part of the braids? I'm not sure how it works but it looks like the scarf is used as a section of hair and being braided in.... I hope I'm making sense lol. The finished look looks like a crown braid

    Quick Q: what's the definition of twisting away from the face? When I look at this video for the French braid part from the back, it looks like it's twisting towards the face, no? Just trying to understand so I don't mess it up!

    • @LaineyMarieBeauty
      @LaineyMarieBeauty  Рік тому +1

      Think like you're twisting your hair towards the wall! Once you figure out the right direction to twist, rope braids become super easy to do!

    This sounds so silly, but when I do a basic rope braid and let it fall to the middle of my back, I feel it pulling on my hair in a weird way to the point I can't wear it (even when it's super loose). Any solutions? Love the video... Thank you so much!! 💕

    • @LaineyMarieBeauty
      @LaineyMarieBeauty  Рік тому +1

      Is it not tight enough? Have you tried twisting both sections, instead of just one, two make it nice and tight? It is a looser hairstyle, so you won't be able to get it as a tight as dutch braid.

    From my view point, you are twisting towards your face then crossing over away from your face.
