Got a run down of the new guys toolbox,
he been collecting tools for only two years but got a great start with a great box.
The brand new Cornwell 84 inch main in Gray with metallic cornwell blue trim.
Cornwell Quality Tools has introduced a new line of high-end tool boxes called the Platinum series. Currently rolling out and available now is an 84-inch double bank cabinet. In development and scheduled for a 2019 release are a 67-inch double bank cabinet, 84-inch triple bank cabinet, and a Platinum series locker and canopy line.

It’s crazy when you have a box that cost more than the tools it holds and then has sooooooo much space left
Sad to see more money spent on a pretty storage box than the tools that actually make the money
I like tours. Gives me ideas on what tools to add to my arsenal
EmmCee Dee that’s what I’m doing right now, watching tours to be like oh that’s what I’m missing, lol I’ve got a bunch of stuff but always forget what I actually need when I get to a store.

What makes the Cornwell nice are the latches, keyless entry and drawer liners, nobody comes close to the feel of the latches though.

Top shelf Box in my opinion, hadn't seen the Cornwell man since about 83 84 when I worked for a Highway construction company in the Equipment and Truck shop, things have come a long way since then as far as the Ratchets and specialty tools, nice set.
I had the exact same box, loved the color. Traded it in for a box with canopy

Beautiful Box. Interesting really. Some guys just starting out find a nice in between (40-56”) for the first major Tool Box upgrade. It’s interesting that he jumped right to the Big Dog. I gotta Tell you that Platinum really Pops! Thanks for sharing your set up. 🍻👍
He said he had a master series snap on with work center that he dropped unloading it off a tow truck.🤯 Cornwell took the damaged box on trade if he got this one, gave him a fair trade in price too .

I have a black platinum and I love it.
Where are the rest of his tools tho?
He could have been fine with a pro series for half the money and still not have it full.
I thought the same thing, buy a us general 56 fill that up then get a nicer box. I love his box but that could of fit in a big roll cart.
The Platinum Boxes are absolute tanks. If I had a stable Cornwell guy I’d step up and sign in. It’s the only boxes that would tempt me away from my 6S boxes. I love that color combo as well.

That keyless pad looks pretty sweet. I like that idea Incase losing your keys or leaving them at home, you always have access
Yeah plus you can easily change the code if you want too.

I don't think it's a bad price even at 350, it's a 87 piece kit full warranty just like the snappy stuff,I was buying a couple new hex kits and my dealer was like hey for less money I can get you into a 87 piece blue point kit.. yeah I'll take it

That's a nice box. I like the color scheme. My matco 5s 3 bay weighed 1100 lbs empty. Probably one of the smaller 3 bays also

Beautiful box. It was a smart move for Cornwell to buy out Kennedy. To me it looks like the newer Cornwell boxers are made better compared to when they just contracted out to Kennedy and Waterloo.

almost everything i have is kept in cases. My snap-on master series fits what i got wonderfully in the last 2 drawers. Idk if cornwell had the space... MAYBE roughly 8 min tall?

I have a buddy who is a Matco fan, and he dislikes Cornwell pretty strongly. Everything I see here says this is in the same class as Snap-on and Matco. It is certainly nicer than my Snap-on Classic 10 drawer (3 full width drawers). I absolutely love the Cornwell drawer opening mechanism compared to the one on my box; mine just feels cheap and rides across the paint to latch when it closes. It's plastic so won't do much, but you can see the marks after a while. Snap-on really missed the mark there... but I got this box 2.5 years old in excellent shape for 30% of new price, so I can't complain too much.
I have that spindle block kit for my press, it works a treat with Honda spindles. Then I got the otc hub grappler
I have the hub grappler elite and the sir hub master the sir tool one I like better
Cornwell makes some really great products there new revamped fine tooth ratchets coming out will be sweet got to test one very nice
The blue point torque set ran me $370 on the snapon truck, love the set..💯✊

That's a lot of toolbox to have when ya don't have a lot of tools yet.... that's an awesome box though and he's spending smart money on the tools he has. Nice tools so far. That trans fill kit might be next on my shopping list. I really like that one.

How is he liking the box a year later? Beautiful box, it's a shame Cornwell boxes don't have the greatest resale value.
