Nice tips! Mainly about settling the rocks before the sand. Never thought about it and always did the opposite. Congrats!

Nice video! Your wife did a good job. $5 / lb for live rock is a lot cheaper than our LFS. That's a good deal. I appreciate the beginner series because it's nice to not spend a fortune in the beginning while you decide if you like the hobby. Or for setting up inexpensive quarantine tanks. Thanks!
$5 dollar live rock is just cooked rock. It’s dry rock they have left cycling for awhile. True imported live rock is like $30/lb or more

Well DIY an all in one is pretty much what I did here I just didn’t put a baffle to separate everything. Drilling a tank I’d be happy to make a tutorial of.
