I'm back y'all!! Going to share this in an upcoming video but wanted input from the OG's first. My plan for this channel this year is to make 4 videos a month (I know, wild for me. you probably don't believe it and that's fair) 2 vlogs, sit down "asking for a friend" is coming back, and a video on changing something each month to improve my life. Let me know your thoughts or opinions on any of the above! would love some feedback. Sounds great, I know the lockdown makes it harder to make content, but at the same time, we are so many that needs a little youtube relief in our boring lifes, so we don't demand much to be happy.
It's better with a little thinner content, but still something, then long periods of.... nothing...
I would watch you make cookies from store bought dough, and it would make my day better, or anything else you don't think would make a great video under normal conditions..

A tip for Taryn: the active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin, is much more highly absorbed in the body when you eat it with black pepper! Obviously not ideal for a smoothie, but thought she might find it useful for future ref 😊

One of the dogs is literally in downward facing dog position. lol
Weird how "dry" and "hydrating"/"moisturizing" when relating to skin is about fat instead of water! So while drinking water or dry air may effect your skin, it's not directly related.
Not sure how it works exactly, but soaps, alcohol and and micellar stuff remove fats. This includes dirt, old skin cells and products. Too little fat makes it "dry" and sensitive. Moisturizing adds fats and your tallow glands produce it too. Strange how the wording is so weird. Maybe a healthy skin then also better retains the right amount of water, but probably they pretend fat is water because it sounded better or they didn't know years back and stuck with it?
Reminds me of your video on oil cleanse years ago. If you think skin needs water which oil repels it would make no sense. Anyway, it's all about balance, which could be shaken up by many things, like environment, products, diet, exercise, hormones. Could you maybe find an expert like a dermatologist to interview on this subject?

ah I was in such a rut for a while not knowing what to share bc nothing felt valuable enough or impactful enough. I spent the last year really trying to figure out what content I wanted to create and although I don't make money from the podcast, it was the one thing that made me feel good so I leaned into it! Eventually that made me feel more creative and inspired on other platforms. I don't think I'm naturally the most creative person so it's rough sometimes!

Are you planning to mostly do vlogs now? Or will you also be doing sit down videos and collabs still and planned out videos
definitely both! I broke it down in a comment (I'll pin it so it doesn't get lost) but 2 videos will just be vlogs, 1 video will be about improving myself in one way or another (working out, studying something, etc) so these might be vlog style as well. Lastly there will be a sit down video just chatting and giving advice when I can for people who submit questions for "Asking For A Friend"

Do you think you’re breaking out from the sheets? Do you sleep in your right side? Whenever I go on vacation I break out from the laundry detergent used on some bedding. I usually get red hives basically, but nothing out of control. Maybe you’re sensitive to different detergents

I have no idea. I just get soooo dry. I don't really know what causes it specifically but it is every time I go out there
@@CammieScott maybe both! Skin is cause it's dry but a lil bit of allergies from the desert effecting sinuses. When I'm in AZ from Oklahoma I definitely feel that way🙃
