My cousin watched it and said, Whirlwind Sand is such a great song! The BGM when the Mongol Khan shows up is super epic and powerful. As expected, Ouyang Feng and the Beggar Clan handled all the funny moments. There’s no forced drama or awkward jokes, which is really nice. The special effects are absolutely amazing-nothing to complain about. Definitely worth watching!
I hope you are correct because China hasn't produced anything worth watching ever since it knew how to make films. It has repeatedly screwed up remake after remake while South Korea has amazed the world with Crash Landing On You, Hometown Cha Cha, etc.
