The reaper's banish combined with the best expanded magazine and best repeater can be devastating on rulers and chosen. Each shot is independent so with a clip size of six shot at the same target the chances of survival are as follows. 1 hit = 85% 2 hits = 72.25% 3 hits = 61.4% 4 hits = 52.2 percent 5 hits = 44.3% 6 hits = 37.7 percent. With a 90 percent chance to hit the expected number of hits from six shots is 5.4, at 80 percent it is 4.8, at 70 percent it is 4.2 So an instant kill has about a 50 percent chance when the to hit percentage is 70 percent.
stock is ok for low aim troops, but its really useless if you got high aim. i only put it on during early game on low aim specialists or grenadiers if i dont have scopes.
Do stocks do extra damages on hits or just on misses, it's written missed shot and considering that late game adding +3 to the 10% shot missed isn't really useful so I never bothered with them. But if it is on hits too then it is much better
@@grandengineernathan Late-Late-Late end-game, they lose ab it of their appeal, because you are not missing many shots. But they have their place specifically on one of your soldiers, which you might want to use to interrupt overwatch.
Hi Crayno, usually not, I prefer the Skulljack on frontline characters (i.e. the ranger). The specialist usually has Aid protocol and healing, both abilities, which do not end his turn. So to optimize his efficiency, I like to keep him in medium range, optimally at an elevated position. That is where the class can shine with 2 actions per round :)
@@SykenPlays I know this is kind of old, but the Skulljack also provides a buff for the hacking ability of the specialist. So just having it in their inventory makes them bettee hackers. Maybe you already were aware of that, but I still wanted to mention it. Grear guides, by the way.
Great point and yes it is correct. I am using it when I‘m specifically farming for hacks. That being said, the +20 hack bonus that it provides is only giving you a couple of % in the actual hack attempts and there are other inventory items that can be used on the specialist as well :)

Stocks only deal damage when you miss, they are good for removal of overwatch and for finishing off heavily injured targets.
@@SykenPlays thanks 😊, are they still useful late game or is it better to go for extra ammo, a repeater, or a hair trigger ?

Nice! ... 😀👍
