I completely agree with you. People used to always talk about me behind my back, and I'd always hear about it from someone else. It's like "are they that bored with their life/hate their life that much that they have to talk about my personal life?" They needed to get a hobby or something.
You make SO many valid points. People honestly waste too much time making fun of people and abashing the things they dislike, rather than using their time productively for something they actually enjoy.
I remember being picked on a tad when I was in High School, but I didn't let it get to me and maybe it even gave me a greater appreciation for people who act or dress differently. I love seeing the creativeness that comes out in people, and others should learn to accept it for what it is instead of making fun of them. :D
