- More creatures to meet, more things to learn! My favorite Tarot deck has come out in a new version; fully scenic pips. I’m unboxing this deck by Patrick Valenza from @Deviantmoon666 and give you my first impressions, enjoy.

I just found out about this decks and im in love. I've seen before the Deviant moon tarot but someting about it is not my cup of tea. The trionfi della luna on the other hand is fascinating. I reached out to the creator because it's out of stock and he said they are going mass market soon and im so exited. Love your videos as well and i feel i will share similar love for those decks when I can have them ❤

Hi, can u please tell me the meanings of these 8 demons, I can’t find any information about them (
I don’t know if they are inspired by any historical creatures or are simply there because the creator wanted to make 8 devil cards. I don’t use them simultaneously

I went a bit overboard and got 4 different versions of these decks, haha. I haven’t even seen any in person, but I’m drawn to it so much! I can’t wait to start working with them.

Congratulations Anna, a very nice deck indeed enjoy. I like the illustrated pips better. You seemed surprised by the brick wall in the V of coins, it’s just the wall of the church she’s walking by in the snow a sad card. I like new astronomer star card, and would use that one and use a different devil card. It’s a wonderful deck and I hope you enjoy it for many years, oh and it’s always nice to have a backup. Hi Earthblues. I was surprised because the wall seems more emphasized in this card. It adds symbolism. I will definitely switch up some of those cards, it's fun to have options!
The paradoxical versions will always remain superior to me hahaha. Somehow, I don't feel attracted to the illustrated pips version. I still prefer the normal/Marseille version (but in paradoxical haha). And I'm an all systems/lineages reader with a tendency to prefer reimaginations of RWS or Thoth, ha.
Hopefully, with this new release, people will start reselling their copies of the Marseille version. Only one can wish, hahaha.
(Kind of overwhelemed by the price of buying one directly from the Etsy Store... It is 105€ for me hahaha).

Hey Hyun, I see what you mean. I think the Trionfi is “supposed” to be a Marseille. But it’s great to have these options. I believe you’re right and some people might sell their Marseille version. Hope you find one soon

Wonderful to see your pleasure and excitement over this deck. I love my Trionfi original( which I read as a TDM) although not strictly speaking a Marseille Tarot deck.🙂 This new edition seems more RWS based to me. The art work in style certainly resembles the original editions of the TDL, and is very different to the Deviant Moon which I see as a RWS based deck. However I think I would find it hard to see past the RWS implied illustrations when reading with this deck. Would love to know how you find reading with this deck and the direction it leads you in.
Same here, Ann. I think I’m going to ease into it a bit. Take my time with it, get to know the creatures in this deck. I call the Trionfi a Marseille because it’s easier and shorter and I consider it a Marseille based deck. But yes it’s more of an inspired by TdM deck ;)
I am getting this deck for my birthday. It should arrive soon. My first ever Trionfi della Luna. This artwork is amazing.
Patricks Paradoxical series are so intriguing; as you know they're essentially "negative" templates that have been enhanced, etc.
but there's something about the results he's able to achieve that make the Paradoxical "effect" so noteworthy, it's almost as though
the imagery affects how your brain perceives and assimilates the visual stimuli.
Have you tried comparing 2 cards side-by-side, one "regular" print and the other, its Paradoxical alter-ego (or twin if you will) and see how that affects the respective interpretations?

Lovely deck. I'm waiting for mine and it should be pretty interesting since I've never tried a Patrick Valenza deck of any kind before. It's strange and beautiful and we shall see.

Now I am even more excited to get my deck. 4 of coins struck me straight away as the scene from Charles Dickens Scrooge. Him clutching his money above everything else and the ghost coming to take him through his christmases. I am sooo excited! I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Anna! It occurs to me that the 4 of Cups may be suggesting that you need intimate time alone with the deck (not in front of the camera) in order to truly understand how you feel about the deck.

Finally my deck is here and I could watch this video! I loved seeing your reactions. For me the experience was obviously totally different since I have never owened the original Trionfi della Luna in any shape. But I do have the Deviant Moon...so to me this deck felt like extremely familiar right away and like an old friend even if it is a totally new deck to me. But cause I have never worked with Patrick's marseille pips...I couldn't even "miss them". To me this feels very RWS in a good way. I could just jump in and shuffle and start using it. And the few spreads I did...were extremely coherent. This aint no fluffy bunny in my collection. Straight spoken "shadow" deck to me for sure. And I love that. I didn't really have many of those type of decks.

@@AstralLadyTarot I never like to see decks on video first. The amount of surprises (atleast positive ones) is so low as grownup...so every opportunity I can...I will try to enjoy those precious little moments.

Makes me wonder what was the vibe of this deck??!? I am Valenza's fan totally in love with Deviant Moon. Now I will study more Marseille to understand the difference. Love and light for you.
