i know i'm commenting again, but... that BHS LOSO Arabian was probably one of the most beautiful passes i've seen in my life. Will anyone do arabian on beam again in combination? fecking gorgeous
ahh i hope she can get this beam routine back! she's upgrading her bars to 7.1 with the 2013-2016 cop; she'll have 2 >7.0 routines! haha fingers crossed :)
Not for awhile yea. Being alot taller affects your centre of gravity that's why some gymnasts lose beam skills after they hit puberty...they just can't stick certain skills well anymore :P
I don't think that her being taller would really effect her doing this routine. I do agree with you though that she isn't near being able to do this, at least not for awhile.
That always annoyed me in my mind cuz it really shouldn't be the same thing in my mind :P It's like how a double arabian 1/2 is so similar to a full twisting double back. It just sort of bugs me. In my mind it looked more like an Arabian 1/2 but that sort of doesn't exist, now does it? :P

Chellsie Memmel
Komova did it again in 2014. The BHS to Arabian to Split Jump to Wolf Jump.
oh komova. the way you fall and wilt under pressure. it's like everyone knows how good you are but you...
ahhh Viktoria... pure talent and elegance.. !!!!!
I've always wondered why you never see Arabians in combination (other than that it's hard); apparently she wrote the book on it as a junior.
Same, only other gymnast I've seen do it is Anna Rodionova (flick+arabian).
there is another one. Mykayla Skinner (USA) in 2013. But yeah, not pretty and neat as Komova here.
This and Katelyn Ohashi's 2011 beam routine are probably the two most difficult beam routines ever performed.
She could still get a 15.0 score with those falls, shit. I hope that she will do this routine again some day. :D
That was a hell of a routine

that first tumble she did was fab

I think this was in 2006, not 2009
where did you hear she upgraded her bars to 7.1?
thats wasn't a BHS + Back Tuck 1/1 - it was a BHS + arabian back with 1/2 twist - simply incredible
No it was a back handspring connected to a back tuck with a full twist. There is no such thing as an Arabian with an extra half twist.
@@trentrogerss There is, she just did it here. Play it at 0.5 speed, that's a tucked arabian half out
@@andreid.8568 Technically that's bascially what she did, but I don't think arabian half-out is in the COP so it would be credited a back full
@@jgsh8062 100% agree

Umm.. I have no idea
I don't think she will tbh. She wasn't anywhere near this 2010 onwards. And she's ALOT taller now.
I know... I didn't respond because i literally didn't know how.
Is a Arabian 1/2, not tuck back 1/1
si hombre, 7,3.
she fell on beam. what a new story
