half life 2 really was a great game, sure it has flaws and many of its parts haven’t aged as well but it is a landmark title for sure.. when.. if the next HL title ever releases.. I’m not at liberty to say, it will for sure impact gaming, maybe not as much as HL2 but it will succeed as Valve always does with their titles
I played through half life 2 for the first time last year I don't know what parts haven't aged well everything was perfect The driving is kinda a bit eh but even then it didn't feel terrible
@SinAster_19 I second this comment! I've just played both Half Life games for the first time, and both (especially 2) have aged extremely well! Half Life 1 might not fully hold up in graphics but the story and gameplay make up for it and with the second game all that PLUS the graphics being done well makes Half Life 2 honestly a masterpiece. It was super a head of its time and I literally cannot find one thing (imo) that has aged poorly. The game is visually amazing and the gameplay great, the story as well Half Life is such an awesome franchise and this is coming from someone with NO nostalgia. Half Life 2 has aged like fine wine 🙌
