Yeah I saw that in the fb group, that sucks! Something that may have helped me was that it was pretty warm, so the plastic would have been less brittle. Otherwise, it is a pain in the arse to remove them, tbh I think I just got lucky
yes, that was the first mod I did. There's a lot of videos about it so I never bothered making one. My CEUK ones have been installed for a year with no complaints

They're held on with that silver push clip so it really is just a case of pulling really hard
