Your new numero uno is that indeed...fantastic!! ! Perhaps you could share a bit more of the Sarzo Spector if you wish. It would be fascinating hearing say, a P in the bridge and a HB in the neck. Some combinations of pickup types that are rarely seen or heard on "traditional" basses. There is a Facebook channel called "Spector Bass Nation" dedicated to one of the, if not the best name is bass guitars!!!
Looks like a very cool bass... but with that neck moved out like that, you'd better have damn long arms. My little arm would fall off when reaching for the first position and holding it there for a whole gig. Love those pickups, though. And, damn, the bass sounds great. Too bad I have such a small "wingspan."
I recently picked one up and I have the same long term arm fatigue concern. Preamp is a little hot but can be dialed back internally , but if you stand this bass by a traditional P bass the nut is almost 1.75 inches ahead. Great bass for fingering middle frets, and pups are awesome, but ergonomically it might not work
I believe he swapped the original Tonepump preamp for the Darkglass tone capsule. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried a Bartolini preamp in it too. Now Spector has unveiled a new Sarzo Signature Euro with Fishman Fluence pickups and a Fishman onboard eq. They’re using empress wood to reduce it’s overall weight, but it still has a nice figured maple top. Oddly, the body style on this new model is like a standard NS body. It doesn’t have the deeper bottom cutaway.
August Thor you are correct. The PumpTone pre amp is +18db and the neck is rosewood. I need to make a correction there. However, the purpose of the video seems correct IMHO.
Spectors are a great combination of high quality traditional instrument craftsmanship and modern technology. It looks like they are continuing that tradition here.
Been thinking of having these pups put into my old spector q4 pro it has a hipshot gb7 extender and 18 volt darkglass tone capsule. Would awesome to be able to switch style of pickups with just the flip of a switch

Excellent video Paulo!!!
Thanks for your review!!!
You are mostly welcome Darwin. Thanks for watching it
Awesome bass
Apparently, there is a new LT Rudy Sarzo signature model that is "weight relieved" and has Fishman Fluence pickups.
Fala Paulo! Você conseguiu essa máquina aqui no Brasil? Parabéns! Moro do lado de Campinas!
Cara, mil desculpas por demorar tanto tempo pra responder. Comprei o bass nos States
The single coils sounded best to me.

Rudy himself said this bass has a Bartolini preamp in it.

This is the 1st Rudy Sarzo signature, which is.equiped with the SIMs p-ups. The new (2021?) Signature is the one with the Fish man pick-ups
pretty much sounds the same to me, strings and plucking technic can get you pretty much any sound you want from practically any bass...
30 seconds in and almost everything you say is wrong :D

August Thor 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Mahogany fretboard ? Not Rosewood like the company states?
mcafee1971 rosewood! It was a mistake of mine when I made the video
Killer video Paulo! Superb job for a superb bass! Well done!
I've been begging for 20 years to move the body to access all 24 frets. Now I dont play anymore he moves it?
The first setting sounded best to me!
Agreed. Precision sound.
Your signal is too hot...too much distortion...
Wally A this is funny. No distortion on my iphone speakers nor or my headphones
@@PAULOCNEGRAO it does sound a bit saturated
@@Facu_Roldan I agree. My old capture card was pretty limited. I shall record a new Review sometime soon with my new Scarlett
Cara que que baixo top meu amigo
Nice bass love this bass and killer tones from it.

Excelente Review Paulo. Comecei a pesquisar sobre o spector e seu vídeo foi de muitíssima ajuda! Valeu!!
just amazing sounding bass ! I can tell, I love the humbuckers mode the most ..
Pee cups to pee 🤣🤣
Can this bass handle funk? Does it respond well to funk style?
I don't see why not. You can dial a zillion tone combinations on this babe
