This is an acoustic piano version of a full on brassy band song that has a lot of belting, that's supposed to be also a shortened simplified version of the song. They did just fine with the arrangement. They both did great with the harmonies, they were blending really well and chose some portions of the song that really highlighted them. Aside from Shannon's runs here and there, she did great throughout. The other girl is again too young, her voice is too young, she doesn't have a developed sense of technique yet and they're not helping her develop one either. She has a pretty voice, but she is way too airy and she was flat throughout some parts, whereas Shannon was spot on. Shannon didn't have to do much to overpower Yujini. Yujini is cute but you can tell which of the two is more experienced at performing, Yujini is a bit shy and awkward. Either way they are both charming and they did a great job at helping each other.

Clash of musical colors, jiny's style is more slow, deep n non embellished style, but I guess she was experimenting. Shannon is musical/diva style focusing on high notes, so Ofc the song would suit her. For these type of perf she needs to work on her enunciation, but for her gen style I think it suits her. I think jiny would pull off over the rainbow (the guy w the ukulele ver) but make it her own or do a jazzy single.
I feel like watching a musical and the duet at 02:04 onward where Shannon and Jini makes eye contact and they're like "we slayed this!". I feel like they enjoyed that banter-like duet. And at 01:27, wow they just played it cool then Jini hit the part.
I know Shannon can sing on another level than just that but she had to tone it down for the other girl to sing. What just kind of unsatisfied me was the that the other girl kind of slurred her words so things weren't clear basically making it hard for the girl to stand out on this performance. And then people are saying kiersha and somin did better but here's where their wrong some parts sounded flat in that performance and then the girl forgot her lyrics and then there was some mistakes in the lyrics therefore that was an invalid statement, we all think differently I just felt that this performance was just slightly better than the other one. Even though this performance didn't do much of justice for them I feel like it was still good. Shannon isn't really overrated but I mean that's my opinion there are other girls that overrated in that show to even say that.
