Yet another super-duper plan went out to be a great success of taking the 16211 Yesvantpur Jn - Salem Jn Express train much awaited ride behind a single headed SWR based ALCo in LHF Mode, KJM WDM 3A #16876 😍 And indeed, a memorable ride behind a single headed ALCo to Hosur (Tamil Nadu State - SWR KSR Bengaluru Division).
Enjoy the video clip of the mighty single headed ALCo's furious acceleration from the main line in almost every halt stations in between, comparatively less smoking and chugging with dynamic braking, air pressure build-up and twin toned honking sounds.

These ex baldie roadies are also doing shunting assignments , departmental assignments in Blore Mysore lines and SWR, when on locos shortage on trip duty, these roadies are sent to far away destinations while same is the story for SCR also where Kacheguda Kurnool and Secunderabad to Basara line are under full wires. SR cleverly shirked the announcement of new trains post corona so that entire fleet post Electrification, all trains run with E only including famous ERS shed also and few EMD roadies are being used as emergency rescue only while 2 or 3 alcos are being stationed at Villupuram for both passenger and shunting assignments. The prime scoop by SR is permanent closure of Mandapam Rameshwaram line to speed up new bridge while this is not at all the reason but real reason is SR does not want Diesel consumption bill at all. Shashank kashyap sir is the privileged person of covering this route for last time in old bridge. thanks

Yesterday I saw a Tondiarpet Thangam alco WDG3 was doing tracks maintenance work alongwith a newly painted WAG5 at Madurantakam Station looplines. Very sad that such heroes wherever they are , Always catch our attention and Alcos are passions of IR

Since kjm shed is facing loco shortage..... It ll take time..... And post electrification in SWR, i think SWR will make trains run behind wag 9's since already trains in sbc mys stretch run behind wag 9 (due to wap 7's production which has slowed down) and trains towards ubl and bgm also will run behind wag 9's
