Hey :), Thanks for sharing this beautiful live recording of Nasrat jan (RIP). This CD was recorded in Hamburg. Its more of an Live in Studio album. The Songs were recorded perfect. On the Keyboards: Ali Etemadi On Tablas: Omed Noori This CD brings me really back to my childhood. I remember when this CD came out, most of the afghan people were intressted into Nasrat jans music and it was the time where he was booked for many weddings here in Germany. The style of the arrangments (Technics 5000 Keyboard, Roland R8 Drum Maschine and those legendary persian synthesizer sounds from the Roland D-50) were for this time really unique. God bless Nasrat jans soul, he changed afghan classic & afghan pop music with his style of music. Best wishes! Alvet Chandok
Alvet Chandok Thank you for comment. I actually purchased the CD when it first came out. I bought all of his albums, but I could only find this one and "Negah" album. I will upload more from him. Yes, you are right, it is a live in studio album, not a real concert, obviously you can tell the quality is greater than any concert. I have some other songs from other Afghan singers, some which are not available anywhere. once again, thanks, and im glad that you appreciate great music.
trojandarkhorse you are welcome! Indeed! It is a 24 bit compressed analog recording. It takes patience & of course many recordings takes to create such an album. True, negah is one of his underrated albums. "Negah" came before this Live in Studio Album. Negah is the album which contains his famous hit song "Payzeb"!
