Nice looking bags, but you are not really showing the compartments of the bags, you emphasize the exterior and lockingsystems more than the interior. So for me, it withholds me to buy one.

Please do your research before doing reviews on bags you no nothing about. The stabilizer strap along the bottom in the back of the Especial is, in fact, removable and able to switch sides just as the shoulder strap. Also, you missed some keys points about this bag. One being the magnetic pull strap on the main buckle that makes adjusting the bag extremely efficient while wearing. All in all, this was a terrible review of some really great bags.

love timbuk 2 every since my courier days 1994 but have since found red hammer bags and what difference I still own 2 timbuk bags but they need to step it up. the middle bag is definitely looking good and lots of improvements.

May I ask about the Stark Messenger? Is it only waterproof with the cover on? Or does the original material of the bag also provide some degree of water resistance?

I have a couple of timbuk2 backpacks. Looking at one of these messenger bags.
You think i can fit an 11 in ipad pro in the x small messenger or should i get the small?
The XS has the following dimensions: 9 liters, 11.8" Top Width x 10.2" Bottom Width x 9.8" H x 4.7" D. Bottom width and height are key for figuring this out. The Apple iPad Pro 11" has a height of 9.74” (247.6 mm), width of 7.02” (178.5 mm), and a depth of 0.23” (5.9 mm). Of course we can swap height and width, since it would be on its side in the bag. 10.2 > 9.74 and 9.8 > 7.02, so it should fit, even with the Type Cover or a small case. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla

all just copies of that man in Manhattan that started the messenger bag trend. Velcro is stupid but some companies never learn. claim to be made in usa but Chinese made. lots of bags but no real style or proportions. P.S. how did they get the idea of the handle on top????
