Trying to write a paper about something and realizing there hasn't been enough research done in that subject is very very frustrating, i can relate to that part a lot haha
It's so fun to hear you talk about your dissotation 'cause I had an introduction to research within nursing (I'm a nursing degree uni student) and I actually understand all the words you're using and getting how it works now. Data analysis really is so time consuming but I actually really enjoy the process, I've only done qualitative data analysis though so the work style is quite different. I really enjoy biology especially within medicine, the stuff you're studying is so interesting and important! Hope it works out okay 💚
A video that starts out featuring Holly's feet in her room, on the stairs and in the kitchen says watch out for the unexpected lol. Watching, watching, watching and then suddenly...BAM... there it is...Holly's armless oversized dancing tee shirt LOL🌞 Your facial expressions when discovering the light mist while walking were priceless and hilarious as was Milka's way of saying goodbye, proving once again that she is 100% cat lol. Was confused watching you eat your corn on the cob. You have a kitchen drawer full of corn on the cob holders which we see all the time, yet you were not using any lol. Just another example of what sets you apart and makes you so unique lol 😁
Wednesday has been made even better because Holly uploaded a video. Her video's are always motivating and I love 💕 her. I like that she is a science nerd and has joined the science nerd club ( I am a lifetime member😆) because I love 🥰 science.
Holly all motivated while I'm here struggling through my master thesis 😂 but to be fair, I just have too many research papers and a state exam to prepare alongside it 🥲 I'm just ready to be done with University. It's time haha.
I just want to respectfully say that, as a Californian, UK weather is incredible. If we could get some rain, maybe the complex wildfires wouldn’t get so big and destroy so many homes. My close family friend just lost her house yesterday :( Where I live, we get coastal fog and lately I’ve grown to seriously cherish it because I know it keeps the fires away. Moisture is good! All I’m saying is, perspective is everything. Now whenever I see rain or wet/cold weather, I feel only thankful for it :)
Also… I hope that didn’t come across mean or rude at all! I don’t mean it to be like that at all. I loved this video, as I love all your other videos! So motivating to see your journey as a fellow graduate student! ❤️ thank you for being YOU Holly!
Thesis always refers to a PhD length 'paper'. Speaking of which, you'd be a perfect PhD applicant if you ever wanted to stay in academia :D I'm starting my PhD in October and you're determination motivates me so much
When I used to do my master's degree in London, we all referred to our final research paper as the thesis. As did my friends who were still on their bachelor, so maybe it's a cultural thing? In Germany people are certainly stricter when it comes to such terms. You indeed only write a dissertation there if you are on the PhD level

Wow masters in the UK seem so easy. In America you don’t have a choice on a thesis you make it up all on your own based on the resources of your lab. Masters in the UK are only 1 year and you have so much support. It seems like an internship
