Koala Wedding Proposal

On the 27th of June, 2013, we received an email from the very nervous Athienne, asking if we could help plan the perfect marriage proposal to be held at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. His beautiful future-fiance, Tarryn, had always dreamt of holding a koala, so he thought why not make this dream of hers extra special, and pop the question at the same time. After many secret emails back and forth, sneaky phone calls from the toilet (while he was in our sanctuary) and a bit of detective work from our staff members, Athienne proposed to Tarryn on September, 3rd 2013. It was a picture perfect moment for all, and all went to plan. She said YES! 'Sinnamon', the koala, as well as the team from Lone Pine, would like to wish Athienne and Tarryn a very happy marriage and the best of luck for the future.
