Carlow - Mick Purcell - Past Times

A Must View for native Carlovians ~ No need to name the participants recorded herein, all are well known and remembered, with many 'departed' from this life ~ This 1989 video highlights_ the need to preserve my collection of over 200 VHS recordings that I am attempting to transfer to DVD ~ tis' a costly process at approx. 25 euro per tape and one for which I would ~ with the limited income of an old age pensioner ~ need a Grant from some authority, group or well-meaning person to fund progress in this matter ~ otherwise much will be lost such as the content of this video ~ This needs to be completed soon as the VHS Tapes are disintegrating ~ Any ideas welcome ! ~ Please do not suggest "Go Fund Me" I would not impose that on anyone or ever consider such ~ Please feel free to comment, like or share ~ BUT some of my videos had images screenshot and reproduced without any consideration or courtesy on another FaceBook page by someone who is very challenging but obviously has other problems, we can park that issue for the moment. ~
A small amateur filmed segment of The Blues Vs Nurney football match follows...I will post a complete video later with ceremony awarding the cup to the winners ( The Blues ) [e-mail]
